"I said everything I had to say, three years ago. I told you where your course would take you. It has."
"Now there you go again! What's the use of theorizing? We're here. we're not back three years ago. We've got to deal with the present, not the past. Maybe things would have been different, if we had followed your opinion, maybe, but the fact is that we didn't--
and we've got to deal with facts. We've  got to take reality as it is now, today!"
"Well, take it."
"I beg your pardon?"
"Take your reality. I'll merely take your orders."
"That's unfair! I'm asking for your opinion-"
"You're asking for reassurance, Jim. You're not going to get it."
"I beg your pardon?"
"I'm not going to help you pretend_by arguing with you-that the reality you're talking about is not what it is, that there's still a way to make it work and to save your neck. There isn't."
"Well..." There was no explosion, no anger-only the feebly uncertain voice of a man on the verge of abdication. "Well...what would you want me to do?"
"Give up ." He looked at her blankly. "Give up-all of you, you and your Washington friends and your looting planners and the whole of your cannibal philosophy. Give up and get out of the way and let those of us who can, start  from scratch out of the ruins."

Sh--canned me????  Is that what happened?  Because that would have been against the CSEA law.  The only thing he could do was eliminate the job to get rid of me. Because he had NO CAUSE.  You're a joke.  And then the Reps were presented with an O Henry ending--because they had to put up with my becoming the County Chair for Senior Issues.  BooHoo!!!  I am crying all the way to every top committee in the Capital District and beyond.  We will all be watching as the Town Sh--cans ST on Nov. 3.  Your underwear is in a bunch because Puddy is kicking your a-s!

Relax Cal.  The sh*t canned comment was directed at Puddy.

I don't think puddy's ever worked a job in his life that he didn't get through political appointment.  I don't think his salary contributes to the GDP.  His talent is kissing the asses of politicians that will keep him employed.  He is a political lemming for the party that keeps him employed.  That just so happens to be the Democrat Party.  So he sees Delgallo bent over and his lips naturally puckered up.  Rotterdam is still recovering from his neglect and incompetence during his tenure.  Now he wants to blame the person trying to fix the problems he created. Republicans have been in the majority for less than 10 years.  It was the accumulation of mismanagement during the 20 years prior that turned Rotterdam into this heaping pile of dog sh*t.

The only Republican on the Town Board that's worth anything is John Mertz.  John Mertz is the only one who was spot on in his assessment of Rotterdam, recognizing those areas that needed to be addressed for our town to prosper.  John was there to stop the ad hock development of Rotterdam, preventing a Super Walmart from being built in the middle of the Town, and took to task the RPD and its over inflated budget.

As you can see, John ruffled the right feathers because the property owners along with the COPservative party are putting on the full court press looking to take control of the town and return it to the corrupt days of old.

That is why on Nov. 3rd, the No New Tax Party is the only logical choice.

You mean like "the guts" to tell it like it is.  The"guts" to hire Craig Surprise.  The "guts" to raise 85 year ole men's taxes and force them to sell off their kids inheritence.  The "guts" to hire Joe Sigsnore's kid over the objections of the Chief.  The "guts" to push around the Gand Dame of Rotterdam, Eunie.  The "guts" to take credit for Metroplex peojects like they were yours.

I'd say MT; Nah we aint tired of saying the same thing.  We just gettin started Dude.  Join in the fun.  Steve's is like a birthday pinata.  Whack it, smack it until Election day.  Then we dance!

I have been here a short amount of time, and i tend to agree with MT, it's just the same few arguments being tossed back and forth.. On the other hand, that's the majority of political arguments huh?

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

I actually think Surprise worked for Nimo.  But I do know that Brian McGarry, Brad Littlefield and Michael O'Connor don't need to win this election for their livelyhood.  And they don't bring anybody in tow looking for favors or patronage jobs.  I can't say the same about the candidates running for the other two parties.

I believe Mr Surprise has kissed the a** of his employer, his employer's brother, his employer's political friends, his employer's staff's relatives and friends, his employer's butcher, baker and candlestick maker.  LOL

Mr. Surprise is the elephant in the corner that will not go away for Steverino. Nobody likes this guy. No matter how much we hear about the pond, the backhoe, the fact remains that ST appointed Mr Surprise.

For Mr. Surprise to disappear-first Steverino must disappear.

And Mertz and Signore too.  They also supported the appointment and support Mr Surprise and his covert activities.

Sal-certainly some of the assessments are outrageous and need to be corrected.  But the reval was necessary.  It looks to me like Surprise has summarily adjusted some and not others.  And you are right.  Frannie is paying a fortune and these morons keep chastising him for trying to get a reduction.  All ST's new pieces cite grievance info.  How lame are they (Reps)  Steverino has NO record to run on so he takes to this nonsense.  Taxpayers would expect somebody who is paying $65,000 in taxes to try and adjust them.  Who wouldn't???

So grieve like everyone else.....there's not much else he can do as supervisor......like I've said before,,I'm not exempt
you're not exempt and he is not exempt......

It's the levy and state/county mandates....is he able to perform in that arena????
