All I know is that during the reval, Macjaka was contacted many times by many residents, including myself. His arrogant self, just said that it wasn't his problem and go talk to GAR. There are many properties that have had additions and in-ground pools added to their homes and their reval NEVER changed. And these were people that had 'no connections' to anyone that could make a difference. Just laxon GAR/Macjaka's part.

Now if Surprise is not following the rules, than that needs to be brought to light too. But clearly, Macjaka was not doing his job either.

Sounds like you caught Cheatin on your assessment there bumble.  Not paying your fair share
all those years caught up wit cha?  Your blowin smoke about Macejeka and GAR.  Dude and
company did a great job with the reval considering the circumstances.  The residents of
Rotterdam sorely miss him and it will show in November when the displeasure over the way
Stevie Ego "dismissed" him for a raving maniac like Surprise.  Ask around my friend.  You have no clue whats
coming down the pike.

First of all, it was not MY taxes that were being grieved. It was for an elderly friend....k?
Second, I DO know what is coming down the pike. I have just learned to keep my cards close to my chest.

K equals okay and Kee equals Margerine.  Cryptic lingo there Bumble.  Consider the source for your frustration in helping your elderly neighbor.  They is never happy and things ended up
just fine for the both of you.  Quit piling on GAR and Macejecka already.  Stevie Ego made a
committment, shook hands and stabbed the dude in the heart.  Why???  For doing his job!

Im lucky to have survived my position in town government but I can tell you first hand Stevie
Ego can't be trusted.  I saw the committment and the handshake.  Also see the new assessor
in action and I take Macejeka over surprise everyday of the week.  Not impressed at all by
Stevie Ego's handpicked successor.  Came at a price and we have yet to see a solid return for
all that extra money Stevie Ego threw at him and the staff to take the job.  IMHO

I agree that I was not in favor of the salary given to Mr. Surprise. Just like I was not in favor of the raise to the town board members.Or should I say the timing of it. I also don't like paying for Rotterdam's brush dump along with paying for the county's in Glenville. I also don't like paying for the RPD and the State Police and a sheriff's dept. I also don't like paying for REMS instead of Mohawk who is clearly more qualified and cheaper for the taxpayers. K?

So where shall we begin.......

It doesn't really matter which Rotterdamian we vote for.......they ALL rub elbows together or have a previous Hatfield/McCoy issue.......

It's ALL about the power and who serves up the punch.....as for the re-val and those who think they deserve 'more/better'......it was a little too late
for the reval, it should have been done YEARS AGO, and those 'better folk' have to look in the mirror and convince themselves of who they are
EVERYDAY.......

it's ALL about the levy by the town, county, state, school etc etc etc..........each rung of the ladder is rotten to the core......

Everyone always thinks there are errors and there always will be errors....as for those in 'special treatment'----waterboarding.....
I guess that would be "tax terrorism"??????
