A bunch of money hungry NNTPers tried to privatize our ambulance service and give it to a FOR PROFIT CORPORATION --- there was NEVER any attempt to merge our volunteer fire departments and - although I strongly believe it is something worth looking into - I understand that it will take a number of years to merge volunteer fire departments.

Funny thing -- NONE of the NNTP/tea-partiers who opposed the Pine Grove Expansion ever even brought up the subject of merging volunteer fire districts  ... never offered one thought as to how to save money and possibly cut taxes.    We did learn that Tomaselli has a nice family but couldn't become a real doctor so he became a chiropractor and McGarry was so wasteful that he bought a whole bunch of campaign signs and left half of them in his garage -- and then he tried to unload those by sneaking around town late at night putting on private property without permission and scaring senior citizens in the process.

Tell me this ignoramus with no past and no future just didn't write this? Is this guy even in reality or are the pain meds dialed up a little high?

Maybe DVOR will deny that he personally wrote this and that perhaps someone hacked into his account and wrote it on his behalf.  I hear the Dems are known for using that excuse.  Remember when TJ Hooker said someone hacked into his e-mail and wrote the message to the Board members threatening retribution if they didn't pass the resolution for REMS & the taxing district?   The Dems may have won seats this election but they are LOSERS!

Well said!! But they are not only losers, they are corrupt and deceitful and self serving! And since bufarti only won with 47% of the votes.......rotterdamians will be gracing their town hall with pitchforks!!

With 47% they are well aware they are losing ground.  They ran a popular sheriff and sccc teacher, and still couldn't capture a majority.  With team law enforcement in office with minority support, you can count on threats and intimidation as their way to keep order.

Couple of things, I'm not affiliated with any of these (Republican NNTPers/tea-partiers). I'm just an average taxpayer wondering how things get paid for. The key word that you used was "probably". Do you know for a fact that those two amenities I mentioned were paid for with fundraisers? Probably not. You're just guessing here. So if you do have facts, I'd like to hear them........your turn.

Do you know for a fact that they were NOT paid for by a fundraiser ???

Personally, I don't care whether they were paid for with a bond issue or a fundraiser.   My family and I support Pine Grove's fundraisers.  My family and I support  South Schenectady's fundraisers.  And we have supported fundraisers at most of the fire districts within the town over the years.

Frankly, I think people like you who b**ch and moan about everything are just a bundle of negative energy attempting to drag the rest of the community down.    Get behind me - satan ... take your negativity back to hell where you came from.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having been an altar server when I was younger.  I take great comfort and joy in having been and in still being a very active member of the Roman Catholic Church.

If you have a problem with that -- that is your problem and I suggest that you seek psychological help to deal with your own problems .

back to the topic of thread ---  here's to getting the bond issue back up for a vote in early 2012 and passed and/or do whatever it legally takes to build the addition and make the improvements -- we can't let the Nayboobs stifle progress/

As far as I am concerned -- whatever it takes to legally get the expansion built should be done.  It is necessary and essential -- we can't put off making the improvements.
