New firehouses, new police station, REMS, sewers.....       The question is, "From where does the money come from for these projects???"\


Show you can carry on an honest conversation, and answer the question using ONE WORD ONLY.

He will say "We do not have to increase taxes for it."

which means they will steal it out of a sewer fund or borrow it or get it from the county tax dollar. Some scheme that puts off paying a few election cycles.

No matter how ya slice it....the taxpayers know they would be paying higher taxes/fees and this is not the economy to do it in. Rotterdamians have historically been very generous (naive) in the past when it came to proposed tax increases for one reason or another.

They are clearly not that generous nor naive with their money any more.

I think that most people, not DV, are just sick and tired of being bent over a barrel and abused by all branches of government.

NOT spending money on NECESSARY improvements can be MORE COSTLY in the long run.   Rotterdam is paying high taxes because it FAILED TO SPEND MONEY ON NECESSARY IMPROVEMENTS over the years.

you're just now picking up on that? you negated all of that since you've been here....now,,, all of a sudden you smell fire?

The District 5 expansion is direly needed --- as we sit down and offer thanks to God for our land, freedom and safety --- lets remember to offer a prayer that our First Responders have all of the tools that they need to protect us --- lets get it done  ASAP and let us pray that the Town and County will work together on January One to implement the expansion with complete gusto --- using every legal method imaginable. This is not the time to allow Nayboob lies to stand in the way of much-needed progress..

God helps those who help themselves, so try taking care of yourself for a change instead of wanting everybody else to take care of you.

The rotterdam democops have been too busy feathering their own nests and the nests of the friends and family club for decades. That is the reason why rotterdam is in the mess it is in today. So with with decades of all of the failed policies and failed negotiations and failed decisions and failed politics.........they expect the taxpayers to belly up and fix what they were suppose to be fixing for decades! TOO LATE!
