If any one has any questions about official town business, he or she should either go to town hall or call town hall -- and direct the question to the appropriate person or persons.

The town does NOT conduct its official business through unreliable and uncredible (venues such as this blog.

Once again you prove that you can't carry on a somewhat intelligent and rational discussion.

DV, where is the intelligent and rationale discussion you want.....we have evidence to support our side.   Where is YOUR evidence????    Oh, that's why you refuse to engage in discussion after you challenge people to engage in intelligent and rational discussion

REMEMBER, I SAID IT FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To refresh your memory, the town posted on their website LATE on 7/2/2012 the following notice:

Quoted Text
Quoted Text
******** I M P O R T A N T   B U L L E T I N ********

Posted: 7/2/2012

Effective Immediately the Town of Rotterdam will be enforcing a water conservation measure that includes any unnecessary watering for the next 72 hours.  On Friday, July 6, 2012 you may go back to the regular sprinkling regulations.

************************************************************

Then, at 11:50 pm on 7/2/2012 I posted the following comment

Quoted Text

What in the heck are the town dems doing??????         This is on the town website

[here I copied the notice from the town website]

OK, the dems need to tell the taxpayers what this is all about.

FIRST, let me state that it's common sense that in a time of drought there is to be no watering whatsoever and such prohibitions have been enacted in the past.

We haven't had much rain lately, but we certainly are not in a drought, no such declaration has been made by the weather services.

Wednesday is the 4th, it does not matter about laws against firecrackers, sparklers and any other fireworks, they do get used.   Common sense dictates that for the 4th, you keep your lawns well watered, any stray spark can start a fire on a dry lawn.

The prohibition is the next three days.   There is no major rainfall expected but it says that it's OK to start watering again on Friday.

Clearly this prohibition has nothing to do with a drought condition.   If the town was doing some work on watermains or something, it would be logical that the "bulletin" would read something like, "due to replacement of....," "due to reconfiguring the...."   and the sentence would finish with "watering prohibition will be in place on Tuesday through Thursday."

So what's the big secret that the dems don't want the taxpayers to know about?

Remember, I SAID IT FIRST!!!!    It in fact had NOTHING to do with any drought/lack if rain.

So WHY did it take OVER ONE WEEK for the town to admit that it was system related---THEIR SYSTEM THAT WE PAY HIGH TAXES FOR!?!?!?!

Maybe they can pay DV a small stipend to walk around the town putting notices on doors because they sure has heck don't have the staff to be knocking on doors.   And I Do NOT want police spending their time doing such knocking when there are crimes that need to be addressed!

The INTELLIGENT and RATIONAL thing to do is to direct your questions either by phone or in person to the appropriate person or persons in Town Hall.   Since I have absolutely nothing to do with the town's water supply except to paying the same fees and taxes as any other property owner in town, it would be ridiculous for me to comment on the matter any further.  Gossiping and grumbling and making all kinds of insane rants and false allegations about the matter on this blog doesn't serve any useful or constructive purpose.

But you WERE for raiding the water district of any surplus cash and funneling it to the police brass (aka Chief Hamilton who has a twin that went to federal prison for police corruption) so they would keep backing the democrap party! Can you deny any of that???

You are making another unsupportable accusation about me.  You are claiming that somehow I participated in either the drafting of or the approval of the town's budget.  I was not involved in either of those.  So I can not only deny your accusation, I can tell you unapologetically where you can stick your uninformed allegations and baseless personal attacks.

EXCUSE ME, DV, BUT YOU ARE NOT, I REPEAT NOT, I REPEAT NOT A PROPERTY OWNER IN THE TOWN   Your name is NOT on ANY DEED WHATSOEVER ANYWHERE IN the town.  You are NOT even REMOTELY connected to owning property as an L.E. or trustee!!!!!

ONLY peoples names who are on deeds are the property owners!   Even if you had a job, and thus income, you could NOT claim ANYTHING on your income tax filing.   Heck, you are NOT even eligible to claim on the state taxes the "real property tax credit" which is available to renters because you would NOT even qualify as a RENTER!!!!!

Therefore you are not even remotely a property owner and not even remotely a taxpayer.

He owns nothing in Rotterdam or the County of Schitnecktitty. How dare he preach to property taxpayers.

My math says I have paid a quarter million in property tax in my life in this county. How much has DV paid?

And I repeat that YOU do NOT know the details of my personal finances and you NEVER will know the details of my personal finances.  I know many people in this town and elsewhere whose name is not on the deed but who contribute to the paying of property taxes.  I am a property tax payer in the town and I pay other taxes as well.

You are just an ignorant, a**hole who hides behind a user name and makes insane accusations (like the idiotic ones you make when you claim that statements posted by other user names are mine or when you completely make up statements and say that is what I believe) --  so here is my advice .. stop sticking your nose in other people's personal affairs or someday you will regret it, shut up and go to hell.   The same goes for your nayboob friends or are each of them just one of the personalities that lives in your demented mind?

We DO know you supported the people who RAIDED the special district to steal the $$ to give the cop brass (specifically your close buddy Hamilton who has a twin who went up the river on federal charges and his inner-circle.) You boasted about that scheme here. And now R-dam dummies who voted demoCRAP have to turn the water off with the rest of us.

As you are an appointed official on a town committee, you are subject to ethics laws which mandate filing financial disclosure and as such, that information is, by law, public information.

If any of our children has job after school and pays us room and board, that does NOT make them property taxpayers!   If a child of ours was grown and graduated from college but continued to live with us room and board, that does NOT mean he or she is a property taxpayer.   Of course, we are raising our children to be self supporting, independent adults as opposed to living with mommy and daddy all their adult life.   If an elderly parent moved in with us and paid us room and board, that would NOT make them a property taxpayer---naturally, we would NEVER take room and board from an elderly parent anyway.

DV, don't you remember that REMS vote, if you and your two mommies were in the REMS distric, YOU would NOT be allowed to vote!!!!   That privilege was available ONLY to PROPERTY TAXPAYERS.

If you had a job and filed tax returns, you could NOT deduct property taxes because you are NOT a taxpayer.   It does not matter--even if you paid room and board, that woud NOT make you eligible to itemize property taxes, and you are not even eligible for the state tax credit available to renters.

In fact, your statement last year about county taxes being the lowest in 50 years followed by your total inability to explain why you said that, your lack of knowledge on the subject proves you are not nor have ever been a property taxpayer.

As you have never made any correct statements about property values and taxes, and your total avoidance in providing evidence to support your comments proves you don't have no knowledge about those issues.   Just keep on cheering for wild spending on downtown and let homeowners in the city suffer.

Keep up the wild spending, the handouts to the wealthy downtown while WE who ARE taxpayers---we have jobs and pay income taxes, we OWN our properties AND our names are on the deed AND we are eligible to deduct what we pay at tax filing time---we are the ones who must suffer with failing water system and the TAXABLE tax base dwindles.

Just coming back from the store, lots of sprinklers already going around here.    Am I going to call about it?   Heck no, we all paid our water taxes around here.   Metroplex can refund us for all the money taken from us and replace the equipment that failed.   The downtown properties can fund their own buildings.   And GE should too
