Watch, just watch, that's all I'm going to say

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.

so does anyone have an accurate count of the number of summons issued so far? Know anyone who's received a summons? anyone run out of water yet?...................uh once again, an unenforceable edict....................on another note, I always thought the idea of a "perfect" lawn is nuts...........had I remained a homeowner, I would have rototilled my lawn and converted it to a well kept vegetable garden..........one part to reduce my food costs, the other just to be ridiculous..........

Watering a garden by hose or watering with a watering can is NOT a violation of the ban.  As for the allegations made by Mack that somehow I was breaking the watering ban -- he is just an out and out liar.  We haven't watered our lawn since the ban took effect.  We do not have a vegetable garden this year.  And - we watered our outdoor plants with a watering can.

Oh -- and it is a lie that I am not a property owner.  I do own property but it is not in this town.

You are undoubtedly the most paranoid person I've ever encountered.............I happen to know Rusty Shackleford quite well and I can guarantee you his name is not Mack.............you make yourself look dumber and dumber every time you make an assumption as to a posters real identity............give it up.....................oh and how is the digitizing of town historical records coming along?.............I'm assuming you've got that project well under way since you seem to spending more time here.........................the dog park? have plans been finalized for that also?.........................what about the bear tunnel under 890?...........have you done your due diligence on that also?............if you need something to do go over to 4 corners and rip what appears to be tumbleweeds growing from the pavement up (sorry Bumble, I forgot my camera yesterday, I'm not worried though as I'm sure nobody's gonna clean that up anytime soon, so I'll have photos next week)...............you have too many irons in the fire to be spending your time here and at steamroomstories.com

It is quite simple Watering of lawns, cars ,nayboobs running through the sprinkler etc is UNNECESSARY and therefore banned.

Using a hand-held hose for a few minutes to water your garden or flower beds is permissible.

Oh - Mr.Mack (Alias/MobileTerminal/Patches), I have no problem with Mr. Shackleford .. I was speaking to you when I referred to Mr. Mack -- maybe you need to actually learn how to read for comprehension.

BTW, there's currently one less cop /front car in Rotterdam.  Went for an early lunch over at Jumpin' Jacks and there's one of Rotterdam's finest here, in full uniform with his SUV watching the people skiing.

Who is this "Mr Mack" and why is he significant in this conversation?  No clue who he even is - is he in politics (ie. elected)?  Are you saying this "Mr Mack" is all four of those screen names?  I'm confused - maybe I'm just Rusty.

Hi. I live in Schenectady but my parents are in Rotterdam but they are away. I wish you could make some exceptions for watering crops. I went to their house Tuesday because their house number is an even and was going to water and the man next door told me no watering because of this new bann and he thought not even for their crops. I tried to call the water office on Wednesday and again Thursday but there was no answer but I did talk in the public works to a receptionist Cindy who said she was sure not even for crops but then had me call Mr Carol who said no water even for crops. My mother has a beautiful flowering bush in the front that her sister gave her before she passed so she has strong feelings for it and was looking sad the other night so I went there yesterday evening after work and brought several 2 liter soda bottles filled with water, I brought from my place in Schenectady. Some woman was standing on her front lawn hosing her lawn and a police car driving by stopped and I guess told her she couldn't do that because she stopped. The car slowed down in front of my parents house and he looked at me but maybe he thought I was watering but I don't think he saw the soda bottles because they were green. I almost was going to ask but I would have told him I brought the water from Schenectady.

I was going to take more bottles of water from my place to my parents but I saw it rained this morning so maybe it will be ok. I am glad we don't have these problems in Schenectady

When you have your town meetings can you council people talk about the problem with the crops please. Thank you. Gerri.
