"We Don't Need No Stinkin Big Government Welfare"...

The Republican National Convention will be themed,
"We Built This!"

LMAO!!!  The "WE" in this theme is not the Republicans, but actually "WE THE TAXPAYERS"!

The stadium was financed primarily with public funds. "The Tampa Bay Times Forum arena, which houses
the Tampa Bay Lightning, was built in 1996 as the 'Ice Palace' with 62% government funds.
The total budget for the project was $139 million, of which public money accounted for $86 million
and team money accounted for $53 million."

Qualifications for the Office of President

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.

Term limit amendment - US Constitution, Amendment XXII, Section 1 – ratified February 27, 1951

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

So, birth certificates DO need to be produced (proving being born a natural born citizen) - but funny, I don't see anything about tax returns.  Can you quote your "source"?

Birth records were traditionally kept by churches and midwives. States began keeping records in
the late 19th century, but they were not at all complete or reliable.
With the advent of the income tax followed by social security, states mandated the report of each
and every birth.
I wonder how George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson became president when there
was no reliable record of births in the USA?
Age is a requirement, and having a valid birth certificate would show age and place of birth... but they
are not Required to be made public to become president.

Income tax returns are also not required to be made public to become president... but in recent history,
most presidential candidates have provided multiple years.
http://www.taxhistory.org/www/website.nsf/web/presidentialtaxreturns

Romney/Ryan can continue to hide their tax data if they want to.  Like Obama's birth certificate (which
he made public) it is not required to become president.  But a majority of Americans want more than 2
years of his tax info to be public... and they will consider the lack of transparency when voting this Nov.

Boy, by the number of anti-Romney and anti-Ryan posts Boxy has made, he must be worried that they actually have a chance!

Keep showing your desperation Box, it's really quite humorous to watch!
