Great. I'm getting a terrible feeling now.... A friend of mine lives on Lawndale and she does not believe this house isone that is affected at all. I hope our home inspector will be able to tell if the house has ever been flooded....I'm
so worried about this now....

Feel free tp call the Supervisor's Office at 355-7575 and ask for yourself.

Translation there is no plan. BUYER BEWARE. Specifically ask the seller about water, flooding and drainage issues. Get the answers in writing. If there is a problem there can later be legal remedy for potential misrepresentations.

I find it curious that a "resident" would start a thread on a very political, one-sided blog about a house somewhere on Sunrise Blvd over an issue that has since been corrected. I can guarentee you this......as a taxpayer I ain't payin for your water in the basement problems.  My tax dollars went to Masullo.  Where was the NNTP on that Gadfly?  What a hypocrite gnat!!!!

relax, lighten up and don't be so paranoid. First...this isn't a resident...YET!!! And no one is asking any taxpyers to pay for a water problem on sunrise blvd.  They apparently are just looking for info BEFORE they purchase a home in that area....k?

However....I'm sure that your warmth and rotterdam welcome wagon personality will surely out weigh any water problems in rotterdam!!!

Peep the problem on Sunrise Blvd is not fixed it's only decreased from happening as often. I know the individual who lives on the corner of Sunrise and Bernard and their house flooded after the concrete holding tanks were placed in Memorial Park. Unless the rain is heavy and prolonged there is no flooding but if there is a storm that drops a lot of rain  Sunrise Blvd will flood.

Answer my question....where was the NNTP, Gadfly, and all you other apologetics for Gadfly over the Masullo Drainage issue that my tax dollars paid for????  A Carolina Lazzari grant?  A John Mertz/Mike OConnor/ alias' Mr NNTP candidates boondoggle is brewing.  Have at it KD.

No new tax party my arse.  A bunch of phoney Gadflys if you ask me.  Read the post BT...they have an offer that was accepted.....there is probably no potential house buyer.  Another NNTP/Gadfly scam...... if you ask me.

Peeper, when the town helps to create the drainage problem that Masullo has endured for years it's the towns responsibility to help correct it. The drainage problem was created over the years by both the Dems and the Reps thru poor planning and allowing developments to be built in areas without proper studies of the water tables.

Netherlands village water drains into Masullo instead of a stilling pond, that system was approved by the town and it never worked. Fill illegally dumped to build a house blocking drainage out of Masullo Estates. Drainage system never maintained since being installed by builder after town took possession and accepted infrastructure of Masullo. I've seen the engineering studies have you seen them Peep?

Who paid the engineer? The NNTP?  Did the engineer report go out to bid?  Did the firm donate to the GOP?  Good questions?  Yes or no?
