"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Waste of money

If we get a donation for the start up costs - it won't cost the taxpayers anything and it will put something in
our parks that residents with dogs can enjoy .. we are also looking at adding things to existing parks that
will appeal to a broad range of residents -- not just the young folks who play baseball.

We have just begun studying this proposal.   You will know more when -- and if -- we send a
recommendation to the Town Board for its approval.

There won't be a dog park. BGAGE is correct........it is a waste of money like so many other things in schenectady county.

I am being very transparent on the issue -- we are just beginning to study the whole idea --
start up costs would depend on how big of an area needed to be fenced in -- cost of the fence
decisions would have to be made about what features to include in the dog park ...
right now we are just gathering as much information to start discussing the options.

the link between the state removing it's $$ for a chance to make a nicely 'greased pot'......so it will be a fake idea......I think you addressed the drop of state funding for
mandated dog licensing.....so the town will absorb the cost by raising the $$ to register your dog.....sooooo, here's a dog park to make it more palatable? or I can use
this as a podium puck?

THE TOWN IS TOO CHEAP FOR SEWERS.....YET....WE CREATE A SEWER DISTRICT OF SORTS FOR THE DOGS???????????????????????????

the dog park and the dog licensing issue are completely separate issues
the dog park is being considered only because some residents suggested it at  PUBLIC INPUT sessions
held to discuss the future of our town parks ... and it was strongly suggested that some person or persons
might be willing to donate the cost of the start up  (fencing and some other items) ...

you really need to drop the "conspiracy theory" approach to life

Who cleans up the poop? Free volunteers or spirits of dearly departed dogs? When will the spendthrift madness of government cease?
