Your life is your property, if you create new life that life is no longer your property but its own.

YUP!  And in most cases that 'new life' happens at birth.

I would argue it happens at conception as new life is created then.

On that cellular level, new life happens constantly with cell reproduction throughout the body.
Just as a blood cell or a liver cell or a brain cell is not a human being, so the cells that may
in time form a human being is not yet a human being.

Aborting these 'cells' is killing life.  So is a blood test, liposuction or an appendectomy.

Actually right at conception the process and characteristics of the human life has begun, it is already different then the characteristics of the parents, it may hold similar traits but it is its own, the human life was created.

"Right To Your Body" isn't in the US Constitution... ya just made it up to further your argument.

Here are some FACTS that might help you understand:

Sorry Cissy.  Your "Right To Your Body" phrase may fit your purposes but isn't part of the discussion
involving the legality of Roe v Wade.

Not my phrase, that was davefromomaha's defense for abortion.  You are helping me make my point that Americans do not have a right to their own body. And that what people call freedom are mere permissions granted by rulers.  You are coming along quite well.  Woman aren't free to choose to do what they wish with their body, they are permitted under specific circumstances.

Yes it may some day become a human being but we can agree that it isn't yet a human being.

Most (more than half) do not survive to become a human being and many do not survive past
the first few months.
Do we count these clump of cells as human beings who have died?  Do we issue a death certificate,
a burial, a funeral for these clumps of cells?

Cissy is arguing for argument sake.  He doesn't believe in this govt that he quotes, yet he continues
to find fault with it.  He doesn't even vote or take part in "our" (not his) government.

Cissy, why bother yourself with issues that do not effect you?  You reject the constitution, then cite it
to further your argument... an argument that you don't even believe in.

Clearly, the right for a woman to have an abortion has been ruled on over 40 years ago, and continues
today.  Play with your words if you wish, it won't change that fact.

Actually we do, every women who wanted a baby but sadly lost theirs early counts them as a human being. But enough with the what ifs, fact is human life is created a conception and that life is a human being. Even outside the womb people change and alter, we are in a never ending process of stages that only ends at death.

Blah blah blah...You already said the right to your body is nowhere in the constitution.  Then you cite the constitution claiming its a right.  Which is it?  A constitutional right or a court decision legalizing what otherwise was not a right?

See reply #14  It explains your constitutional (limited) right to an abortion.

Really Henry?
This is a human being?

Hello Henry, My name is Bob Zygote!  I'd shake hands but I don't have any, nor any stomach
brain, heart, blood vessels, skin bones and well you know... I don't have anything except these
8 or 10 cells.  But some people (real people) consider me to be an entire whole complete human
being!  I know crazy huh!

Yup, I read it...very interesting how the right to privacy only exists for abortions.  I still don't know how they figured out how they narrowed the right to privacy to abortion while violating many other rights to privacy.  Hey, I guess if 7 judges make such an illogical decision, it must be logical.

Something box doesn't want to admit they're all in the process of growing limbs, feathers, roots. Box likes to pick what stage of life counts, maybe someone thinks you are not human till you grow pubes, hey that is a stage of life also so why not. Sorry box you fail every time this argument comes up, maybe try some fresh material with facts to back it.

It's the best system in the world for determining 'rights' under a constitution.  But you don't believe in
the US Constitution or the laws based on it... so, why bother arguing for a "right" that you don't consider
to be valid???
Or are you just one of those obstinate people who will argue any issue just for the sake of arguing?
