How Cicero runs in circles chasing his own tail till he forgot what it was he was asking in the first place:

Quoted from CICERO
I'm using the definition of human being, not human life.  I admit I was wrong, I thought human being meant the conscious state of a human.  When it means is a member of the Homo sapiens.  ?

Back to what I believe is Cicero's opening salvo on this topic:

Quoted from CICERO

Either way, what does science say about human life again?
Scientifically, does it begin at birth?

He's so confused!

Human Being
Dictionary.com
noun
1.  any individual of the genus Homo, especially a member of the species Homo sapiens.
2.  a person, especially as distinguished from other animals or as representing the human species.

Is a zygote an "individual?
Is a zygote a "PERSON? "

Not confused.  Just realized that your argument of Human Being was flawed.  Whether you want to call it human life or human being, I'll argue they are one in the same when discussing a fertilized human egg.  You tried to separate the two and failed on a grand scale.  Like I said...Use "personhood", it fits your argument better, since you are merely looking for legal justification as to why human life or human beings can be killed.  It has nothing to do with science.

Yes, it's an individual human being.  And as I said, a person is a legal term, not scientific.

"Personhood"??? Do you think a zygote is a person???

That's a legal argument.  It's a human life, a human being.  Whether it's a person???  That's why you vote.

in war there are many zygotes killed along with their 'incubators', but that's ok because that country's extant posterity
doesn't deserve to happen......according to the projected value placed on their DNA/RNA human beings by governments
and their warmongers.....

in war abortion is 'legal' with or without choice

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

In war, slavery is legal.  They redefine it, and now it's called conscription and "service".  In government, theft is legal, it's called taxation.  The state doesn't care about human beings, only the legal "person" matters.

That's fine.  Does it change the question?  Is a zygote not a human being?  After all, even dead Neaderthals are identified as the Homo genus species.

You should stop using human being for your argument.  It doesn't work.  Use "personhood", that is the political definition of what constitutes when a life can be destroyed intentionally without it being homicide.  You should never argue in favor of abortion by trying to cite science.  It's a losing argument.  Stick to political and legal language.

Alright...Maybe we can find common ground...In the legal definition of personhood, when does medical science pronounce a person dead?  My understanding of death based on medical science is cardiac arrest, or when the heart stops beating.  Seeing that a fetus develops a heartbeat by the 4th week of development, is it fair to say that when the human heart of a fetus stops beating, that it is clinically the death of a person?

Heart beat??? So someone who is clinically brain dead and if the family disconnects them from life support,
then they would be guilty of MURDER?

Oh...And what are your feelings about NYS issuing death certificates for stillbirths?  If the "person" never received a birth certificate, how does it received a death certificate?
