Libertarians are .01% of the voting population.  I don't understand why Christie is making an issue with such an insignificant, marginal, irrelevant extremists.

If he had any balls he'd run as a "Libertarian" (unless he is really not a Libertarian at all...
Maybe Rand is LINO.)

Because he understands the stranglehold the 2 party system has, if libertarians were allowed in the debates or has the same coverage as the 2 parties I'm sure he would run 3rd party. How much media do you ever see given to 3rd party candidates, maybe 1-2 hours tops during the whole campaign. During the last election there was only 2 shows that actually gave any real time to 3rd parties and that was Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano and Stossel.

LOL @ Freedom Watch and Stossel!
That wasn't 'real time'... it was Right Wing Nut time.  No one else watches them.

So first you say:
"However this isn't about parties, this is now a fight between those who want freedom and
those who want masters."

And now you say it IS about parties.

REPUBLICAN SENATOR Rand IS a REPUBLICAN running in the REPUBLICAN PRIMARY for the
REPUBLICAN NOMINATION.
It IS about party.  THE REPUBLICAN PARTY... just like it was for Daddy Paul when he ran
AS A REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN, in a REPUBLICAN PARTY PRIMARY.

If Rand is truly a Libertarian, then get some balls and run as one.  Bernie Sanders runs as a
Socialist and wins consistently.  Why?  BECAUSE BERNIE SUPPORTS THE PEOPLE OF VERMONT.
Rand supports his REPUBLICAN backers.
Don't say it can't be done. Bernie does it!

It's the same reason followers of Leo Strauss injected the neocon philosophy into the Republican Party.  Party philosophies change over the course of time.  Both the Democrat and Republican party's have changed over time.  Woodrow Wilson was no Grover Cleveland in their philosophy of governance.  Cleveland was a classical liberal(now called libertarian) and Wilson is the father of modern progressivism.  Yet the were both democrats.

Yes!  So this IS about PARTY, not some slogan about "Freedom".

You both ignore the SOCIALIST running as a SOCIALIST and winning as a SOCIALIST!
Bernie preforms and that is what got him elected mayor of Burlington, then Senator from Vermont.
Bernies "socialist' title should be the kiss of death for any politician, much like "libertarian" is for
the Paul Twins.  But unlike the Paul Twins, Bernie represents the people, and so gets reelected.

No, it's about the current system that the masses accept.  Bernie Sanders is a SELF DESCRIBED socialist DEMOCRAT.  He appears on the ballot as an INDEPENDENT, not a member of the socialist party. So his party affiliation is INDEPENDENT.

He NEVER ran as a SOCIALIST.  And there is a socialist party USA.  Looks like Bernie plays the same game.

Either way you make my point that 3rd parties don't receive equal air time or treatment.

Parties don't matter to me, policies do. He has to play the game to get his message out, a message that is getting out and gaining support as shown by the recent polls. As you posted many in the GOP are out to smear him, many on the left also do the same, funny how that is the 2 parties who don't want people to think their the same teams up openly on Paul. This is nothing new as I seen this happen during the last 2 elections.

Exactly and as I told box notice how both sides are now joining forces to target him, this isn't about parties this is something bigger.

Sanders caucuses with the Democratic Party and is counted as a Democrat for the purposes
of committee assignments, but because he does not belong to a formal political party
, he appears as an independent on the ballot. He was also the only independent member
of the House during most of his service and is the longest-serving independent in U.S.
Congressional history.

Much the same way... The Paul Twins could run as Independents and not as REPUBLICANS.  They are
members of the REPUBLICAN PARTY.  They run in REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES and are in FACT
REPUBLICANS... not Independents, not Libertarians, not Democrats but REPUBLICANS.

I don't blame you for being embarrassed by that fact but it is a FACT!

Funny how you see it as "the GOP is out to smear Paul", as Paul smears them... they are all
REPUBLICANS, all from the same REPUBLICAN PARTY, and very little difference between them.

If that was the case they wouldn't be out to smear one of their own, they would be united. What we seen however is that the status quo doesn't want to change, they would rather lose an election then offer someone who would bring REAL change.

Yup, he's an independent that caucuses democrat and counted as a democrat, sounds like Joe Lieberman.  You seem to be moving away from your oroginal BS that bernie sanders is a socialist.  Why doesn't he run as a socialist? Why not have a socialist caucus?

The only thing sanders consistently does us run as an independent and caucus with democrats.

He was hoping you wouldn't look into it and his lies will go unchallenged, typical of him.
