Hey Tippy,,,,,way off base with names getting raises.....misinformation can get you where you need a paddle to

go upstream n your canoe

.....get a copy of the Resolution 66.11 passed with voices and wordings by person (s) to cover their

crookedness and what they may do.....blow smoke to cover tracks of the real crooks and liars....destroying Town

property and talking out the sides of their mouths

The hours Cafe staff work... more than half of their "pittece"ipay was taken away.....less hours for 2   more for

1..that's an increase in pay?????   get your facts straight.......up the creek...no paddle....

         too bad....soooooooooooooooooosad...

HERE ARE THE FACTS~!

FACT 1:  See the Town Board Meeting Agenda just posted two part timers are getting raises for one month while
one cook is on vacation.

FACT 2:  While Cook 2 was out sick and Cook 3 called in for an entire month, Cook 1 didn't get a raise, no extra
pay, nothing.

FACT 3:  Cook 2 and Cook 3 could work more hours instead of getting a raise.

FACT 4:  Cook 2 and Cook 3 can't cook, so it will be cold sandwhiches for the entire month.

FACT 5:  Town Board is giving raises while they threatened layoffs to full time Civil Service Employees.

Well isn't this a fine kettle of fish?  As I recall, the vacationing cook was promised by JD to work full-time.  That must have been fish-tale.  I am curious to know if the money coming in at the Brass Rail is enough to support all the cooks?  Are any of them Americorps workers?  Because that used to be the case.  If the vacationing cook was being a full-time worker, why isn't she a union employee?  For the amount of nonsense that seems to go on with the non-vacationing cooks, I would think a more effective plan could be utilized.  It's the Brass Rail--not Friendly's.

OMG!!!
close the damn 'brass ring' !!!
There are 2 diners right across the street! DUH!
Or perhaps the seniors are toooo old to cross the street with walkers and wheel chairs!

It appears that everyone has had their hand at the rotterdam senior center and it is still a MESS!! Actually worse than ever. Does anyone actually think that any of the baby boomers are going to join it NOW??? Hardly!

The place is nothing more than a building for old gossipy busy bodies who have nothing else to do!!! CLOSE IT DOWN AND GET A LIFE!!!

If giving her a raise will keep her away from the Town Board meetings, I say 'give it to her'.

Right BT--THE BOOMERS AREN'T GOING!   But Rotterdam isn't ready to do the real work that seniors need...and stop referring them to websites.  They're seniors who didn't grow up with computers.  They also don't like to get on the phone and never speak to a real breathing human being.

Hi

Got news for you...Town meetings are a problem.....the truth prevails when a citizen gets up to speak to the

three so-called educated board members.....and those who "can't stand the truth" will always have something

to say...... when is any positive dialogue  going to start....and all are civilized and ratiional when it

comes to the comments made on this blog.....and the Town is not in "tunnel" vision.....diversity not adversity.....

too bad no one knows what that means....

So, have a bite to eat at the Center... enjoy yourself...relax.....smile....it doesn't hurt ....

AND  full time cook ???????   only if someone else was still in charge....get on with critical issues...there's only

one persistent party that keeps this nonsense going....can shove it out....can't take the truth...don't beat a\

dead horse....

Why aren't any of you puttng your energy and educated guesses on issues that matter....

find a CURE for rumors and gossip....find good people and stop the nonsense that you think is riight....

in other words....if you can do it better...go for it...iwalk the walk....Rotterdam is the land of opportunty and

seniors are the very fabric of this community....leave them be.....they need respect...not the

hooplah someone else created......put it to bed........EDUCATE....EDUCATE...some of the "boomers" have allowed

society becpme what it is today....shame on you....and give applause abd a hooray for your parents.....

the poor poor seniors....made to be podium pucks.....close the senior center and reintegrate the seniors into a COMMUNITY MEDIA/TECH CENTER
FOR ALL AGES.....

this will also remove the podium puck and those who think they are archangels(sure they do good work, but really get over yourself)..
society had to make so many systems that got mucked up with legal mumbo jumbo as if that makes people nicer---nah, not true...
