Well it's too bad that you don't even know Lynn to form any type of opinion
of her!  Your comment about knowing her and her family "for years" is another
one of your fantasies. I recently asked her about you.  She doesn't know you.

She will make a fantastic Rotterdam town clerk!

Well she isn't telling the truth -- because my Aunt knows her -- I dealt with her when she worked
for Mr. Tommasone.
I believe she had a favorable image .. up until the transition period last fall/winter .. and that
is all that I will say publicly on the matter.

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

Yeah so you dealt with her in the supervisor's office.  Again, what does that have to do with
her ability to be town clerk?  What makes you a personality expert?

I found out a little while ago that the resolution to appoint Severson has been removed from today's agenda...working on that retirement thing.

thanks for the update!!!!
So does that mean he is working IN the town clerks office now.....before the appointment?
And why are they working on the retirement 'thing' when it may well be illegal to begin with??
And they wonder why the rotterdam residents go to these meetings with pitch forks!!!!!!!!

Nothing was mentioned one way or the other...the meeting ended with no discussion of most of the items on the agenda...and the Severson
appointment still wasn't on it...but Severson was there. It was strange, really...the meeting seemed to come to a sudden end. See the
9/2210 Town Board Meeting thread...I posted it there...and addressed the retirement issue.

One could ask you the same question.

WTH???
Mary just wanted to know if Lynn did a good job in TH. That would require a simple 'yes' or 'no'!

actually she asked if she has the ability to be town clerk .. and what makes me a personality expert

.... honestly -- on the first question .. I would say NO .. and on the second .. I guess it is a "talent on
loan from God"

No? Ron, since you know Lynn so well, you probably know that she was in banking customer service for MANY years and is also experienced with human resources management. I can't think of better qualifications for a Town Clerk, save perhaps years of unemployment living with your aunts and selling snake oil insurance. Oh, and that's /tic.

I have had years of experience in retail customer service and insurance/financial sales.  Never
sold snake oil .. but I did sell long term care insurance and life insurance.
I am confident in my ability to carry out the duties of First Deputy Town Clerk and, someday, Town Clerk.

Lynn also had four lines, the full support of the GOP ticket and got blasted at the polls.  Not electable---NEXT!
