Lmao, everyone is trying to confuse each other.  Mike owned the building and GP and others owned the business "4 corners pizza", is it really that hard to understand?

Now I have a couple questions:

1.  Did they determine what caused the fire?

2.  Did 4 Corners Pizza, the business, have insurance?

I am sure that Michael had it on the building, but what kind of policy was on the business?  And will it be enough for them to re-open?

Then again, with the new pizza place coming in down the street, competition was just about to get very tough. So they might not be interested in that idea.

The report on the fire is due in the next few days. The investigation was JUST completed.

If you guys spent as much time on solving the town's problems as you do on this, the town would be the best town in the country...

Gerard, pay attention to the time of my posts, they will no longer be during our work hours, so you can back off!  Call off the blood hounds in town hall, we GOT the message.

What was the big deal asking about the investigation into the fire anyways?  Isn't that what you created this thread for?  And why didn't you answer the question about the insurance?  Just curious.

Also, is there any truth to the rumor that the tax department was investigating the pizza business?

With all your posting, seems like you could clear a lot of this rumor stuff up for all of us.

I'd have to believe that this is just a rumor since GP is a CPA and probably maintains the books.

I haven't had any conversations about the building with any of the Democratic leaders thay you have named.  I was just relaying what I had heard from other sources.

well ... bottom line .. I hope they rebuild soon .. besides the fact that it is an important intersection in the town ... I did sincerely like the pizza from 4 Corners Pizza .. and would like to see them back in business soon.

Does anyone else find it odd that the investigation on this fire has not been closed?  Or did I miss something?

NO, you didn't miss anything.  I don't know if they'll ever come up with any answers.  Maybe they're just hoping that people will forget about it and just think of that building as part of the mess on the corner, and rip them all down to put in the CVS at one time... in about 10 - 15 years.
