Her integrity was shot the minute she notarized a paper for a known dead person.

As for the "best interest of .. herself" - ya, I agree with that.

What an embarassment for her and her family.

As for Mr. Parisi, I have no use for him .. what he did to Mrs. Esposito was reprehensible and uncalled for.
I have known many persons in public office in my life  -- some members of my extended family -- and I
have never witnessed in those other public office holders the nastiness and depths to which he sank when
attacking Mrs. Esposito.    The same goes for Mr. Salamone and Ms. Rhinesmith (and I know she is a
Conservative .. but she is also a hack for Mr. Parisi and his "brand of Republicans").

What he did was his duty.  However, YOU have yet to PROVE it was a conspiracy.  PROVE IT OR
SHUT UP~!

It's rather simple.  If an employee is ill and cannot work for an extended duration, he/she is placed on disability.   That is how it happens in the real world.   The current administration is displaying negligence by not forcing this issue and taking these steps during EE's absence.  This is an integrity issue on not only EE's part but the entire Board and shows disrespect to the town residents who supported them in the election.   Nov 2011 cannot come soon enough!!!!

Eunice is an elected official -- the administration can't take any other steps than what they have.
Again, the Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity show their ignorance of civics and reveal that their only desire
is to continue their malicious attack on a wonderful public servant.

Have you ever met Jimmy Constantino?  If whistleblowing an illegal action in the clerks office is reprehensible - what would you call Jimmy Constantino's body of public work here in Rotterdam?

Conspiring to commit fraud in an effort to set up someone .. is a felony.

And no .. I never met Mr. Constantino and, furthermore, I never voted for him.

I think Eunice committed the fraud.  Notarizing a document without the person being present.  And that person won't be present for a VERY LONG TIME.

Actually, Eunice - at most - committed a violation of the notary code .. that is a misdemeanor.
The person who went to the window to ask for the notarization and who knew the person was deceased --
was committing fraud.    And the folks who conspired to set up the incident committed fraud.  The fraud is
a felony.

Set up the incident.   Yeah,,,it was a real complex scheme.  The person hands Eunice a document to notarize, she doesn't verify that the person named on the document is the person standing in front of her.  Sounds like a plot from the movie Oceans Eleven.

This is a job for HOMELAND SECURITY!! Call in the FBI!

Once they see how backwards rotterdam is, they will be laughing their a$$es off as they walk away!

Can ya see it all now.........an electorate that votes in an 80 something year old town clerk that commits fraud. An X town attorney, turned rep chair, turned town board member, turned supporting a dem for assembly. A super that can't read nor write. A babbling deputy super. A town board member that doesn't know if she's a dem, rep or con. ..................and the list goes on.

Then on to the city.......OMG

IMHO of course.

Is it ignorance or selective memory??? As I understand it, the person who went to the window was the WIFE of the [dead] guy and the STAR document was both their signatures and SHE was standing there (both names appearing on the deed) .... yes, a mistake that Eunice trusted the woman ... but not quite fraud on her part ... she certainly didn't benefit from it. When do we stop beating this dead horse??? Eunice already got her "punishment" from the Notary Dept. ... is this over yet?????

When the dead horse stops collecting $50K for a job she was elected to do and hasn't been there for 10 months.

Either do the job, resign, or go on disability.

The Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity get their satisfaction from tearing others apart.   They don't have
a shred of decency, intelligence nor common sense.

AGREED!

Maybe someone should do a robocall with the question "should a town clerk who does
not show up to work continue to receive a huge salary"?

I would throw money at that!

We don't need to do a robocall ... 98% of town residents want the Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity to
move to Mongolia.
