Why isn’t apple juice ever made in N.Y.?

Does anyone know why apple juice sold in our local supermarkets is made from concentrate from China and/or South American countries? Look closely — it’s stamped on the clear plastic bottle, not the label.
Don’t we grow apples in New York state any longer? Just wondering?

We make cider.......which is better......leave the apple juice concentrate with high fructose corn syrup to the other parts of the world......we do it better with cider.....I prefer cider over juice,(juice is watered down leftovers).........just like olive oil with first press and blended.......the stuff of leftovers is for 'the rest of us'........................................who can afford pure maple syrup????

The Chinese are making us some really nice juice with no pesticides- REALLY!

I better watch what I say, again. These people will have me up on human rights charges for discrimination or something, but I think it should end where we have to bring in apple juice out of China
