Rotterdam NY...the people's voice  /   Chit Chat About Anything  /  SACC TV

I turned on SACC TV to watch the re-play of the Rotterdam Town Board meeting which usually airs at 1pm and it wasn't on. They were running ads instead. I found it quite interesting when they ran the credits of who was on the board and the staff of SACC TV. It is almost the entire Schenectady City Council! So now they not only control the entire government process, the metroplex, the local media, but now our very own public access tv too. Gee, we have our own little communist community going on here!

So where did the re-play of the Rotterdam Town Board meeting go? Anyone know? And they need to update their public service announcements. Some are a month old.

I recall that Chris Gardner, Schenectady County Attorney and former Chair of the Schenectady County Democratic Committee, was recently appointed to the SACC-TV Board of Directors.

If you review the membership of the Board of Directors for SCCC, SACC-TV, Proctor's Theater, etc., you will find many of the names of those on the Schenectady City Council and the Democratic members of
the Schenectady County Legislature.

Oh so I guess what we have is a government "of the party, by the party and for the party."

Here you go folks.  A thread on the Schenectady Forum entitled "Conflict of Interest??? ... Here!??"

The posts at the above URL give a sense of the extent to which the Democrat majority in city and county government has embedded themselves in the Boards of Directors of non-profits (SACC-TV, Proctor's, etc.), SCCC and public authorities (Metroplex) in an effort to assume absolute control and silence opponents.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

The Dems want to make sure that they will be able to get deeper in our pockets to fund their pet projects and they will also be able to influence the people thru SACC to go along with them.

I'm not defending the Dems----but-----what Reps were willing to organize???---at this point I dont even think the party matters,,,,,just the power,,,,,it's just a form of the Alaskan Pipeline being built----everyone wants a piece even if it means changing parties----because to be loyal to a party is just as bad.....
....but, for the purpose of 'center' 2 or more parties are beneficial---otherwise we would be no different than the religious compounds.....the Dems have turned Schenectady into just that---a compound of welfare.....there needs to be the 'other view' to get to 'center'........
