What is wrong with Rotterdam......don't answer that!

Rotterdam Town Board Meeting April 27, 2016
Res. No.
109.16Appoint James E. Longo of Rotterdam, New York 12306, to the position of Public Works Coordinator, provisionally, part time, with no compensatory time and no employee benefits, at an annual salary of thirty thousand and 00/100 dollars ($30,000.00) per year, commencing on April 28, 2016.

The residents voted this jerk out of office and again voted to not let him return. The voters don't want him around so why does the town board feel it is necessary to bring him back? I have three answers

1  Political favor - Sorry about the election Jim here is a $30K consolation prize for coming in second place.
2  He has Dirt on some board member
3  He needs a few more dollars on his time sheet so his retirement in three years can be at a higher rate.

I have a better idea for the $30K - don't hire Mr Longo and take the money and repair some of the infrastructure that he left in disarray like the water mains and street paving.

Glad you're waking up .. he never should have gotten elected again.

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.
