First there was tons of money STOLEN from the financially struggling homeowners, many who lost their homes, to fund a bunch of gin mills.

Now there will be tons of money STOLEN from the financially struggling homeowners, to fund the gin mill college education.

Alcohol program at SCCC, and that is NOT a program for those suffering from alcoholism, but rather a program to teach students how to make it or something.

TOTAL WASTE

There is career schools in the capitol region that already do this for those interested, I can't believe SCCC is trying to jump on this

Just like the "beauty salon" classes at the high school, while we taxpayer have paid for the school for the Forbes billionaire Paul Mitchell and then we pay the billionaire's taxes, and then we pay for the tuition for the drop outs to attend "school" there.

Degrees in "nail sculpting" and "toe nail painting"

Don't fret if Obama gets his way SCCC will be totally free. It's already a taxpayers black hole with open admission. The culinary program is excellent but very few ever get jobs in the field.
More of a full employment plan for DEM high tax lovers like Brucker and King. They are getting ready for casino bar tending jobs. Of course most of the new business Downtown is also alcohol fueled.
Next we should have open container laws Downtown to keep the boozy theme going. Tie one on on the way to tying one on.

and do ya think the reps would and/or will do anything different?
Come on.....they just want to control what THEY created!!
they want their friends and family club to reap the benefits.
Who will be the first rep/candidate to openly campaign on abolishing the METROPLEX???

SCCC is a DEM patronage mill. Vince Riggi is for abolishing Metrograft although not a REP. Yes, the Farley's created this monster but the original czar was a IND and every decision was not politically motivated. The problem is the top down planning with no public input whatsoever. You can try to make comparisons but IND John Manning had public
hearings to see what the people wanted. This has all ended. No one attends Metrograft meetings and no one bothers to waste time trying to talk to these people. The battery plant fiasco is another $5 MILLION reason why Metrograft should now be abolished.

As the 1% get richer and the middle class slips further down the ladder of success, community colleges are a good way to keep connected cronies enjoying the style of living they've become accustomed to.
