Ch 6 reports at Rotterdam Square Mall and Crosstown Plaza (you can decide if Crosstown Plaza is "city of Schenectady" or "town of Rotterdam."   OF COURSE I can verify the municipality (or municipalities) of Crosstown Plaza, I can provide the EVIDENCE, but, well, a certain board member (multiple definitions of that phrase) claims my "evidence is a bunch of crap," heck, I could provide a copy of the tax map and my evidence would still be claimed to be crap.

Car windows are broken into and bags taken out.  Ch 6 says put your stuff in the trunk, they didn't say what to do if one has an SUV, van, minivan, pick-up, or hatchback.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

this has been going on for years.
the rpd just never reported this crap.
but hell....they want raises....so now all of a sudden there are car break-ins?????
our car was broken into TWENTY (20) YEARS AGO!!
right in our drive way....so were many others.....never reported!

they are just choosing to report this sh! nowt.

the more fear they inflict.....the more control they have over you.
and the more they can justify more $$$$$$!!

Need more higher paid cops and public surveillence cameras.

It was probably a drug addict dealing drugs in the parking lot.

I'm not sure, because I've only been to Rotterdam Square a couple of times since it changed hands, but it looked as if the usual parking lot security you see this time of year was lacking.

it's not about fear....about   "vigilance" and how some people are passive about who, and where they go...

good info....

if you are ever in line with a senior....you see how unobservant they are....leaving their valuables for all to see and to be stalked.

so that's why I am concerned.....many times have seen and know of someone who has been assaulted in a robbery.......besides parking their cars and

walking around because they forgot where they parked it......and RPD is doing a fine job...why don't you ask for a "ride-a-long".....they would most

be most happy to let our "concerned" citizens actually see whay they are doing....it's different times.....and forgot the past....all is always about

the past.....look ahead...you might be pleasantly surprised .....youth is in force and that's what we need ...no more old....no more leeches......no

more tunnel vision as such some have on this site......move on and help start anew....

Have a great holiday....hop Santa is good to you..

Is there a time in your adult life that you weren't "vigilant"?  Criss...The town supervisor preyed upon under aged girls 25 years ago.  You think Rotterdam's dangerous now, think about how dangerous it was when the Town Supervisor was preying on little girls and the RPD was white washing it.

keep bringing up the past...that's the only way out for Rotterdam???...come on....get with the times..

and BT...if I am a "b**ch" it's more like I am an activist....who's been there.....and knows what this world is really like.....

and yes, I leave my house.....and always ready for whatever......if you don't know ....don't judge......everyone is entitled to live and believe in

for their morals and ideals/////

I have one thing left .....if I was back in the day and someone was "preying on girls".....believe that would have been gone in a flash....no one wanted

to speak up because they didn't have the guts.....and remember women have been preyed upon since the beginning of time.....and left to

the "good 'ol boys"......it never has changed.....
