wrong term....my faux pas.....

it was slowed down....which is pretty much all the vaccines do....are there cases....yes.....

it's like the chicken pox vaccine....you can still get the chicken pox, but POSSIBLY not as bad as you would have...now I'm not sure
how that future fortune is told.......

but a whole picture of how many had/have/could is where the numbers either mean something or they don't.....

A 5-year-old boy who returned home from Guinea Saturday is being tested for Ebola at New York City’s Bellevue Hospital where he is in isolation with his mother, officials said today. Preliminary results will be available within the next 12 hours.

The boy was transported to Bellevue Hospital Sunday night because of his travel history and initial reports that he had a fever, but he actually had no symptoms when he first arrived at the hospital, officials said. The mother has shown no Ebola symptoms.

It is unclear what the child's symptoms indicate, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said today. "We did the cautious thing," de Blasio said. "It may turn out we have something here or it may turn out to be something different."

The boy, whom authorities have not named, developed a fever this morning, prompting the Ebola test, officials told ABC News.

The boy and his mother are not under quarantine, the city officials said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Craig Spencer, who tested positive for Ebola Thursday, is in an isolation unit at the Manhattan hospital. After Spencer's diagnosis, his fiancee remains under quarantine, along with two friends. None has shown symptoms of the virus.

Spencer has gastrointestinal symptoms, which health officials said were "anticipated." He was described as awake and communicating.

He became the fourth person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States after he was hospitalized Thursday. He developed a fever that morning and alerted authorities, who transported the doctor from his Harlem apartment in a specially designated ambulance.

ya know peeeps???......to keep the community safe...agree that an epidemic could occur........the nurse who is fighting quarantine??.....why is it

that her belief is that this EBOLA is not contagious...there she is riding a bike and not concerned about what other people are feeling....isn't that a bit selfish

for someone who volunteers to help people???.....and those volunteering in Africa do not agree with quarantine ???.....

takes 21 days to know if you are sick.....my question is and always was if one comes back in 13 days....what about the other 8???...

QUARANTINE.......the governors are right in asking for that....the government should not interfere.....and it should be up to each individual state to set a

protocol.......thank goodness some governors have the safety of the people above all.......that's common sense.....

guess who gets to pay her bills? the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT.....you cannot expect healthcare workers to sit home without
a paycheck....

if the taxpayers have a need to 'feel' safe then they better ante up and pay for the mandated quarantine.....

we give teachers/police/fire fighters paid administrative leave for numerous reasons.....

do you see where I'm going with this?

fear is a grand tool, isn't it?

I hope you are never quarantined and possibly prevented from being with you loved ones in what could be your dying days.  Or as Senders points out, prevented from earning a living during those days you are quarantined.  Pay your quarantine tax to subsidize Heath Care workers that may face lost wages based on this policy.  Quarantine is imprissionment.

I wonder just WHO would take care of Cissy if he came down with Ebola?
His govt supported hospitals? NO way!  Cissy doesn't believe in them.
Maybe a Govt supported and educated doctor???
Cissy would refuse because he doesn't believe in govt education.
How about if some clinic offered Cissy a shot of Govt discovered vaccine???
We all know that Cicero would refuse any type of Govt Funded meds.

I guess Cissy would just... DIE!

So you are saying people only help one another through government coercion? Your basic argument is humanity doesn't exist without organized coercive power. Without it everybody will DIE!

more attention when you screwed off instead of learning at your Govt Provided Education.

You wouldn't accept TaxPayer funded help for your ebola would you??? Why not try some Big Pharma solutions
at several million dollars a dose?  Why not go to a private pay hospital who will treat Ebola?  If you can find one?
Do you mean that you would suck off the GOVT TEAT like some welfare cheat and take Govt Health Care and
Govt Funded Research Meds???

Read the entire article...in her own words, she justifies quarantines (self-imposed or not).
By the way, now she doesn't want any monitoring/quarantine, but previously stated
she had intended to self-monitor...$$ changes peoples minds when they see opportunity.
no doubt some shyster got to her and told her all about the money she could make
