I continue to hear about ShopRite opening more stores in the Capital Region.  Price Chopper will be losing market share.  I only wish that Wegmans would come to the area!

There have been a lot of rumors about Shop-Rite and other potential businesses/developers interested in coming into the City-County of Schenectady.   It is only when they actually file paper work to get approvals for their projects that we can say for sure that it has moved beyond rumor to having some likelihood of happening.

You can bet your bottom dollar that any major food retailer would be playing its future expansion plan "cards" VERY, VERY tight to the vest.  

in order to be in any management in any grocery chain......customer count.....profit margin in each dept......

it's a daily and leads to what is important to the chain....not that a magr is doing his job....but how much is his dept making....

cashiers are usually making out very well....
