The County DEM morons are holding a "special" Friday night meeting to screw the County taxpayers this
at 6pm. They are hoping to avoid the hot glare of the public and media spotlight. A couple weeks after
ripping off City property owners for 8 years they plan on busting Gov Cuomo's tax crap of 2%. This is before the County Home goes on budget. The County DEMS are hoping no one comes and no one reports on this latest outrage. The County is as poorly run as the City but there are more sheeple to pay the burden.

Now here's the sad part about all this...I'd love to agree with the editorials and the overall sentiment that they're doing this on a Friday to shut the public out. But the truth of the matter is, the move to overturn the cap is ALREADY DONE.,..shutting out the public is just a way to speed things up and get everyone home before 7 p.m...hell, I'd be surprised if this show lasts more than a half-hour. They have the votes to pass it...make no mistake, this is done. They're having the public hearing on a Friday so they don't need to listen to the outrage for two hours before smacking the gavel and being done with it. This BS is simply a way to speed things up. I'd be floored if they even make mention of what the expected tax increase is. They're not even expected to vote tonight...It's all a show.

The cap is crap, a cap is a cap, a stopper, this far no further, not a variable resistor, a sliding logarithmic scale derived from manipulated numbers.
The fan is running and the crap will hit it soon.
It will be a sight too see all the Statists devour each other as their empire crumbles.
There is no saving this America as was once thought to be, it does not exist it's gone.
Not really gone its alive in the hearts of people. It does not live in buildings of brick and mortar ,it does not live in uniforms and badges.
it is evening... sundown, the night comes...
but ,
it will always be evening and morning the new day.

We didnt come this far to get this far.

DV wasn't down there Friday, with his pom poms, screaming "give me an H, give me an I, give me a K......HIKE TAXES....the renaissance, hip hip horrah"   ???

It's getting so bad in Schenectady, and WE have provided the EVIDENCE, that DV won't even comment anymore about Schenectady, it's too embarrassing that all the things we "nayboobs" have predicted based on the EVIDENCE, are coming true and it's too hard for him to accept defeat

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Dear Fellow New Yorker,

From the first day he took office, Governor Cuomo has made it a top priority to address out-of-control increases in property taxes. He understood that our state's high property taxes – among the highest in the nation – were driving people from their homes and businesses. That’s why last year he led the successful fight to enact the first-ever property tax cap in the state’s history.

“And, after its first year of operation, the cap is delivering as advertised,” today’s Daily News said. The cap means “millions of dollars staying in New Yorkers’ pockets.”

Not only is the Governor’s cap providing real  relief for homeowners and businesses, but it has also led to increased fiscal discipline on the part of local governments. Most have chosen to live within the cap – two percent or the rate of inflation – rather than exceed it by supermajority vote.

Click here to read the full Daily News article.

Through the Governor’s reforms, like the property tax cap, pension reform and hundreds of millions of dollars in mandate relief he fought to pass this year, New Yorkers will save billions of dollars in their property taxes.

The new New York works for you and your family.

Sincerely,

The Office of the Governor

So there ya go all is well

Only 4 legislators had the brains to vote against the DEM "leaders". They are fiscal incompetents that cannot be trusted with public funds. The City is pulling the whole County underwater. And because of Metrograft County
revenues keep tanking.

The whole County is a laughing stock. This is what happens with DEM morons all goose stepping to the
bosses orders. All dissent must be crushed. Anyone who questions Death Ray/Fat Morris boycotted. They have run amok with the public purse. One elected REP and one elected IND in the whole County. Instead of cuts we get more DEM moron bike paths, pocket parks and handouts.
