Extreme Remodel of the Rotterdam Boys and Girls Club

Volunteers kicked off the seven day long event on Saturday by beginning to remodel the Rotterdam Boys and Girls Club on Curry Road.
Organizers say they are amazed and proud of how the small community has come together to raise money and get volunteers to help
build.
"It's all about the kids," said organizer Darlene Zeh. "I might have had the vision, but it's these guys who made it come true. Their hearts
are in it for the kids. And to me, it's a small community doing big things for the kids."
Zeh says they have already managed to raise $50,000 in donations, but are planning to try to raise even more for the program.
