Attention Residents
Effective immediately, July 9, 2012, the Town of Rotterdam will be enforcing a water conservation measure due to equipment failure.
There will be a watering ban in the Town of Rotterdam from now until July 17, 2012
On Wednesday, July 18, 2012 we will resume our regular water sprinkling regulations

This differs from the other postings that were released.

Except if you're a Rotterdam cop who waters, or anyone else, considering nobody will enforce it.

at $500 per occurance they might just raise enough to cover the cost of the pump problems - the pump has been a problem for at least as long as Mr G was the head of DPW and water and sewer was under his authority and budget

I can start listing streets right now that i know we could probably bring in $100K tomorrow morning.  Earn more money before the sun comes up than the RPD can spend all day in Overtime.

Offer a $50 reward and the watering will stop in 1 day.

just where is this money going to come from - the town is broke in more ways than one

you think that Litz and Mercoglan are going to enforce a fine  - they would most likely wave the $85 court fee to
