It's OH SO VERY SAFE in the city, that the biggest cheerleader, DV, not only REFUSES to come into the city to live. Why is that DV????? Scared of being shot or stabbed, assaulted or burglarized?

In less than a week first murder in the Capital District in Downtown {half a block from Proctor's at 8AM}, DOT flees Downtown for Colonie, an apartment building Downtown is gutted and now the rumble at the alleged Harmony Club. No reason to change anything. Keep the implosion going! |

When you have gangs, drug dealers, drug addicts and a welfare population of 60%...............what does anyone expect?
Exactly how many kids did the Schenectady school district graduate 'successfully' in the last 10 years? How many of them are employed? How many are employed in Schenectady? How many still reside in Schenectady? How many are on welfare today?
Looks like law enforcement, the school system and non-profits aren't solving or addressing schenectady's obvious issues! |

There is no such thing as a RENAISSANCE in the city occurring...
WHY ????......iit really irratates to see this word used so loosely .

Why profess what is not happening and how much crime and disease is in the city...
Let's start using a better description (WORD) of what is really going on....
The song on 1300 portrays what is really happening and there is no mention of Renaissance
