Riggi should have received the kudos for this instead of Brucker.  OK, I know she's the council pres.    However the ONLY reason she is doing this is because the dems are scared now.  They know that the council now has a member who is a watchdog FOR THE TAXPAYERS instead of for the "dem cronies and their tax exempt millioniare friends"

Brucker's announcement is an interesting one in that over the years, Schenectady leaders have been timid about suggesting that the use of take-home vehicles, particularly those of police officers, be curtailed.

The topic is being dredged up again as police leaders push to get Chevrolet Tahoes, instead of vans, for three evidence technicians to take home.

That's in his personal life, what he does for the taxpayer is what concerns most. The issue has nothing to do with hating cops but common sense of how to save some money and stop all the wasteful spending and perks that need to be ended.

Exactly! There is no need for yet another commission. ENFORCE the existing residency laws on new employees. If you don't want to enforce them-strike them from the City Code. Vince Riggi has found support across the aisle with common sense leaders, especially Babara Blanchard. Vince Riggi has already stopped the Tahoe fiasco and the illegal contact on the open Council seat. He has not been a councilman for one month.

Now that other FACTS are coming out about Mr. Riggi -- I would suggest that for the good of the City - he resign IMMEDIATELY.

You can "recall" but no proof?    I won't confirm or deny, I've never read about it in the news, I'm sure it would have come up during the campaign
