Those play the game better than they do their job... DVOR's job is put a playing card in the spoke of a bicycle wheel while going thru the 5 corners....making so much noise he can get to his destination in 3 minutes... move out of the way....I'm coming thru....because the round a butt won't be wide enough..  |

As for the poster who claims to know more about the situation at 5 Corners (and elsewhere) than the actual university-trained, state licensed/certified EXPERTS who conducted the study -- my only response is ROFL ... now tell me another joke.

neither do a lot of other folks.....it's getting to Altamont Ave that's the problem....
the bottleneck is not at the 5 corners....build the CVS at 4 corners and guess what....
roundabout at 5 corners would have been a waste of money.....for the taxpayers.....
leave it the way it is.....concentrate on business......jobs......

I hope that CVS comes back to the table with a new plan for 4 Corners. The last one was very good -- just needed some revisions.
Was that how it was presetned when everyone but you voted it down? Did the other members say we can't vote yes on this in present form but ask that they go back and make modifications? And were those specific modifications/changes identified? And did anyone else at that meeting say the only reason the residents were against it is becuase it was a CVS, like you did? |

When CVS was presented at the planning comission in addition to questions about the plans the comissioning members (less DVOR) were also concerned about the traffic at 4 corners. Build another high volume retail buisness at 4 corners and the traffic will only get worse and when the next study is conducted there will be no room for a circle with the proposed CVS. |
