I would like to hear conformation that this video is fact, from a USMC representative, before I make any decision on this
issue.

If you don't see the outrage caused by pissing on a dead body, or how just plain dumb that action was, then Bumble
there is no explaining it to you.

IF this incident happened as reported, the consequences could lead to many dead Afghans and Marines... something
no one wants.

If it is true, it is a despicable act.  Who would disagree?

Oh please spare me!!! This wasn't an act of torture for God's sake. The guys were DEAD! They were already screwing their 70 virgins.......remember? They were livin' it up in the 'other world'!! I guess the marines need to take a course in 'sensitivity'!

my concern is that these pictures will be used as propoganda for terrorist organizations. I hate the taliban and have no issue with what they did, but taking a picture of it was dumb and may end up costing other marines their lives in the future.

We train our soldiers(18,19, and 20 year old kids) to kill human beings.  We do this by dehumanizing the enemy.  Then we act shocked when they piss on the people trying to kill them, and who they were taught are less than human.

The muslims don't need pictures for God's sake! They do what they do cause they do what they believe!!! The difference here isthat the muslims have full support from their government to serve and protect their country in any capacity.....in America, you are castrated!!!

Pull our troops the hell out of there, bring them home and end this nonsense!!! Our troops have been used for political fodder l-o-n-g enough!!!!!

If it happened as portrayed in the video, these Marines will be the #1 recruiting poster for the enemy.  A stupid act on video
may cost the lives of many Afghans and Marines.  Just plain dumb.

These savages do unspeakable acts on a daily basis, and on a multitude of levels. Many are never reported. The few that are are are so toned down it's like it's bother for them even to report it.
"The body of a U.S contractor was found today outside Kabul, with his hands bound and decapitated." No pictures, no outrage, move along.

See a Marine pissing on a savage's body?
"This is CNN with 24hr. coverage of the 'Pee Pee Marine' scandal, where outrage is spreading like wildfire through the Muslim world!" And you'll have plenty of pictures. You'll have plenty of experts ranging from some 2-bit desk general to doctors that study the average size of a Marine's penis.

A better thing for these Marines to have done was to drag the bodies behind thier humvees to a hillside near the village where they base out of. Impaled the bodies on 10ft. pikes, doused the bodies with a mixture of pigs blood and gasoline and set them on fire for all the Taliban to see.

Since the enemy are savages, Buck wants us to drop to their level and become savages too.   If we try real hard
we can keep the hostilities going for hundreds of years, taking millions of lives.

OR

We can act like the adults in the room and do the right thing.  These  Marines know better.  They've disgraced
the Corps.  They don't represent the values of the US Marine Corps.

PR wise, it wasn't too smart and will damage relations between the Arab world and the US. But...how different is this than what has happened to US soldiers and contractors?...well, at least these guys were dead before they did it. The contractors were alive when their heads were sawed off. The hypocrisy from Karzai is typical.

I saw a story on CBS where a Afghan commander said it would take between 10 and 30 years to have a functional afghan fighting unit without outside support.... Thats all I need to know..pull them out now.
