well, add another to the list.  The Recovery Room takes out ANOTHER business in Rotterdam.  The Last Resort will no longer be a resort, as I have read that they are closing down within the next month.

Ya, heard this when I was there the other night .. they tried a last ditch advertising effort in the Gazette last week, and business went DOWN.

Sad.  If you don't have friends in city hall, you're screwed.

Honestly, I thought that place was closed a l-o-n-g time ago. Haven't seen any life there in 'at least' one year.
And that area isn't so good anymore anyway.

It was closed, but a private owner leased it (or maybe purchased it) a couple years ago ... they were doing pretty well on the weekends, but obviously not well enough.  As said in the beginning, the residents dollars can only be stretched among so many places - someone had to suffer.  Since the owner had to pay property taxes (when Recovery didn't pay ANY taxest) in the city, they were at the disadvantage

The concentration on downtown in the city is biased.....years ago...each neighborhood was thriving with business big or small

the deterioration of neighborhoods is not only because of the influx of undesirables.....but because CITY HALL has allowed this to

happen....Box stores and malls ruined small businesses.....but, over the years the government has pushed the small businesses

out of business...Corporate greed.....now, the greed is concentrated in one section of the City.....

now to me that is discriminatory .... biased and greed....fatten the pockets of the METROPLEX CUSTOMERS.

The city has fallen by the wayside.... nothing to bring it back.....but a change in common sense to build the WHOLE city...

Instead of Erie Blvd...project...put the money in ALL neighborhoods...clean up the city the right way....

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

this failure of this bar (s) are not the result of Recovery.....caused by the city of Schenectady.....MCC  and the gang

people choose where they want to patronize.....city chooses who it will support....
