Police said the 26-year-old victim, LaToya Ebron, went upstairs to Karuzas' apartment Monday night to ask her to turn down the music. The woman was preparing to put her children to bed.
When the music level did not drop, the victim allegedly returned to the unit and the two began arguing, police said.
Karuzas allegedly told detectives she stabbed the woman once in the stomach. The woman was taken to Albany Medical Center where she died. Police said Karuzas told them that the victim tried to hit her and that she stabbed her "in self-defense."

This is what occurs in every renaissance. Elm St and entire sections of the City are worse than Hamilton Hill. The ghetto has exploded as middle/working class flee in droves. 800 abandoned houses and counting. Not worth waiting for a nonexistent buyer. And some mental defects call it progress.
