Thought there was no violent crime Downtown according to the multiple economic development frauds. Did they take the days total of $10? |

You must have been listening on the radio. I heard it too and looked for it. Funny, when you google it, the Times Union seems to have something. It was a gunpoint robbery. But the link to the TU story doesn't work.
It happened Wednesday night around 10, plenty of time to make the Thursday paper. Wonder how much it cost the taxpayers for the city/county/Metroplex to pay off the news media to wait until today so it would hardly be noticed, as obviously the city knew full well the big news yesterday and today would be the Occupy story.
And which cheerleader name has said here that nothing bad happens downtown, it's safe, no crime, etc.
You'd think fat greedy Morris, forcing the financially struggling homeonwers to pay his taxes, would pay money---out of HIS OWN POCKET--for adequate security. With the absolutely outrageous prices he charges. Those who pay his taxes and provide him with a lavish payday can't afford to go to the shows. How the hell does he get away with charging $70, $80 and more per seat! The people in Schenectady cannot affo0rd $500 for the family to take in a show.
And what was the end result of the other theft not all that long ago?
Let's hear what the cheerleaders have go to say now. Oh, downtown is safe, no crime, dangers. Just gunpoint robberies, a bunch of panhandlers and winos, and a murder. But it's not dangerous |

They will say what they always do "it's all lies" and "goo goo gaa gaa". Fat Morris should never have his coffee house open past 5 pm and pay for missing security out of his bloated salary. How many robberies and shot gun attacks over there this year? They can put it on the comics page-the word is out. |

Guess it's not so safe when a Proctors show isn't happening...you know they do get extra police protection on those evenings. How about all those holiday shoppers in the City last night? Oh yeah, between no retail and the dangers of crossing the streets Downtown, can't think of a better deterrent to avoid the area....oh yeah, now there's gun point robbery in the Renaissance Proctors. Ouch! |

What do we expect...the focus is making it look good......I have thought this for a long time....
few years back when attending Proctor's for the Nutcracker, after leaving and going home, the thugs from the Hill
grabbed on to the back bumper of my car for a ride down State St......it didn't deter them one bit when I hit the gas pedal...
finally gave up just before Erie Blvd..
Probably the last time I went by myself to the downtown area....
It's not safe...crime is rapant and the druggies are looking for money for their habit....
BE SAFE< BE VIGILANT.....

There is no crime Downtown! There is no violent crime Downtown! The Fat Morris coffeehouse is a sign of renaissance! Proctor's is efficient and well run! A private enterprise fleeing and Fat Morris taking over is a positive development! So what if they pay NOTHING even stiffing Mayor Stratton for the City pool program. So what if Union College and Ellis both paid the PILOT. The demented DEM sock puppets have been unmasked for the phony liars they are. |

the thugs from the Hill
Seriously how do you know they were from Hamilton Hill? This stuff is happening all over the city. |

You are so right. I hear the calls all the time for the cops to be around Proctors when the shows let out. What with the price of a ticket to go to a show no one has any money left to be robbed of. The crack addicts can't figure it out though they are to stoned and they still try to rob folks and they use guns like what happened here. |
