Took my mother to vote this a.m.  Dem all the way.  AS for Marco's experience.  Patches you are quite foolish.  Marco knows the town and its networks better than anyone running.  Like her or not she will win this office.  She DID not belong in the senior center--no brains for that job just the process.  Will agree if AC wins the office will look like "Clerks Gone Wild."  Buffardi is a lock.

        Glad you acknowledged your vote because you are the poster child as to why Rotterdam is the $hit hole it is.  Same stupid, dumb mental processing as to how we got in this mess at the State, County, and Town levels.  Keep drinking the political "kool aid" as the resident's wealth is taxed right away from them.  Keep expanding government and making it costlier.  No vision for the future, just keep the Town in the same time warp, as the rest of the Capital District eclipses us.  Sad, but not something new or unique, been this way for decades.  Thank God for the Villano's, Tomaselli's and the rest of their team, genuine concern, public interest towards all rather than a select few, young, educated, energized!  Much preferred over your "Retirement" Party!

My mother, unlike you, is part of the greatest generation.  She has never changed her philosophy politically.  NO vision fosr the future???? What an a** you are.  She has seen more people come and go than you can imagine.  A contemporary of Polly Noonan she has great plitical insight.  As a kid she was on the ground in Goose Hill getting jobs for immigrants.  Rotterdam is a $sh*t hole thanks to the Republican party who made it that way.  Dems are still a better choice than the fools you could come up with.  And btw AVON I don't live in Rotterdam.

Lots of Rotterdam citizens have been here and there for at least three generations...

Lived in the City and then in Rotterdam for the past ???? years.....it's a matter of choice....watching politicians

come and go is a way of life....and either party is to blame.....that is what has brought this town to where it is

today.....no compromise....no diversity....no change in the people who run for office....all related in one way or

another....so any time whether of not a Rep or Dem wins....they have carried with them inborn ideas and

opinions.....which has led us to the greed and personal agenda that candidates need for their own

ego....no thought of the citizens....just grandoise thoughts for their own power....so how can anyone

agree or compromise and be bipartisan....they always say "   across the aisle"....more like "across the great

divide".....

Now hold on, my calculations tell me that Rotterdam has had a majority on the Town Council for 8 years out of the last 54 years. You are claiming that the REPUBLICANS DESTROYED ROTTERDAM? Fuerthermore for 4 of those years the GOP had a majority that comprised three CURRENT DEMOCRAPS- SIGNORE, VELLANO, AND DAGOSTINO. So I guess you could say that the GOP REALLY had control for 4 years since the others proved themselves to be democraps in disquise! So for about 7% of the past 50+ years the GOP ran things and so Rotterdam is a mess!

OMG--editor of the Gazetto---NEVER.  Maybe the TU.  Sorry things went bad for everyone in the Town when ST took over.  On the other hand, I think Hull will take Schenectady and I think that might be a good thing.
