I have 2 more years of a 3 year term on the Parks Commission left -- and don't intend to resign from the commission nor as historian -- and the Commission has done great things WITHOUT any help from FDG .. so on the truly outside chance that he is is reelected .. it wouldn't change a thing .. especially my opinion about his unfitness to hold the office.

I think I received ONE McGarry mailer, and heard NO radio or TV commercials. So if DelGallo is helping with money, I don't know where he's spending it. I've received about 10 of the EXACT SAME mailers from the Democrat Party Re-ignite Rotterdam ticket with the picture of those deuce-bags on it. I LOVE slowly pouring the melted remains of my evening chocolate ice cream fix on the Democrat mailers that are staring up at me in my garbage can.
well .. Frank Del Gallo's money did NOT play much of a factor in 2009 .. the FACT is that the Democratic Party raised the bulk of the money on our own .. just as we are doing in 2011

you might want to look at BOTH sides of the mailers .. as no one received more than 1 of the EXACT SAME MAILER --- one side is the same -- the other side is different ..... seems like you need to go back to nursery school and learn how to tell the difference between unlike things.

First....my in-laws thought that ALL of the dem mailers were copies of the original. They read the first one and through out the rest because they all looked alike.
Second....it must be bitter sweet for the democops that used and are now abusing fdg. Folks never thought he was a great rotterdam super....but hey, that is what the democops were selling the rotterdamians just 2 short years ago. The truth of the matter is....fdg would not be led around by the nose by the party bosses....PERIOD!!

Similar to FDG's newspaper ads which all look the same- people stop reading after the first one. You have 3-4 seconds to get their attention. If they were selling some product line that was detail oriented then I would say the uniform appearance thing is fine. They missed the importance of uniqueness and variety. Those things are going into the trash faster than you can say "Ron Seversen is a mamma's boy."
The mailers are NOT exactly the same --- ONLY ONE side is the same and has all the candidates -- the OTHER side is completely different and focuses on one or two of the candidates. NO ONE received duplicates of the same piece (both sides) ... unless of course there are two or more people in your house and each is registered to a different party.

Gee DV, don't get so defensive. It's constructive criticism. You should actually listen and learn, because I honestly threw them out after quickly looking at them because they looked EXACTLY the same as the first one I received. I know you dems have all the dirty money to throw around, but unlike wasting money running a failed government, if you don't spend your money wisely running the campaign, you aren't guaranteed the job after election day.
