Dear DVR,

So if you are filing a complaint against the illegal signs in the town, that will include Angelo's sign that is still up from the LAST election cycle, right? I mean, he is not running for State Assemblyman in this year's election, right? So why is his sign still up on the barn by I-88? It's been up there for over a year.

I know he is smart and since he is a county lawmaker and wanted to be a state lawmaker, he knows he is in violation of the law. For convenience someone posted the law on this site.

Please make sure to include that blatant violation in your complaint. It's a biggie. What do you think his fine should be?

OH NO  someone needs to call the sign police. If this is all you people have to worry about than your life is sad and you don't deserve a vote. I mean please everyone has illegal signss posted but look at the bright side. In a few weeks they will be in the dump.

I don't really think that signs are the issue here. Although it is just an example being used to see exactly what is enforced in rotterdam and what isn't. For example Angelo Santabarbara's sign has been up at that barn by I88 for 2 years!

And even tho signs are not a major issue in the scope of life, it has been annoying to those who are NOT even politically connected.

In defense of these 'sign bandits'...I would believe that most are volunteers that just stick them in any ground that looks inviting. From this election forward all candidates should take special notice of where and how many signs are being placed. Hopefully they also make note of exactly where they left them so they can go and retrieve them. And above all, check with property owners before placing ANY signs on their property!

The all DEM Rotterdam Town Board busted the Cuomo tax cap. They are running a candidate for town clerk that they fired from the Senior Gossip Center. So they talk about other political signs. Its called a distraction.

STEVE TOMMASONE may have been thrown out on his behind from the Supervisor's Office, yet he still knows how to come here and cause trouble. People threw him out because he was a lot like his cohort - John Mertz. Both had heads the size of beach balls and thought they could lord over all the people....the voters will never elect a Nattering Nayboob again.
