If Mohawk was chosen when they made their first proposal more than TEN years ago, there probably would have been more than 1 MILLION added to the budget since then.
TJ Hooker has perpetuated this scandal but FDG could have stopped it and he chose not to...so TJ and Co. will continue pushing the next administration to sign a contract with REMS.
BTW...no contract has been signed between REMS and the Town for BLS...once again, REMS relies on distortions and untruths to swindle people out of donations...just as they attempted to dupe taxpayers into an unnecessary tax.
Who is supply ALS? and HOW? with WHO? WHEN? WHERE?

ALS is supplied by the town funded paramedics and it is my understanding that they are dispatched with every ems call in Rotterdam... which is always routed to REMS....with or without a contract.
just goes to show you......vote these critters in again and the town will fade into the sunset.....and Rottendam will not be the nice place to live anymore...........another slimey turn of events....
REMS is a great organization --- worthy of the VOLUNTARY financial contributions of those residents who value human life and public safety.

Everybody knows that REMS is in financial ruins. Everybody knew taking on REMS would be a major risk. If it weren't the case...rems would have been in a contract with rotterdam 10 years ago. Paolino knew it, tomasone knew it and fdg knew it. It went upfor vote and the residents spoke loud and clear. But no one is listening.
The last rotterdam rep slate lost, in part, due to their campaigning in support of rems. TJ Hooker should take a history lesson onthat one! TJ Hooker's slate of candidates, if elected, will walk to his drummer and do whatever they are told to do. One of those things.........REMS!!
