agree the town is equal....supposed to have been anyway, the junction has been left to rot for a long time. The people of this town are selfish and is full of clicks that everyone strives to be part of rather than be themselves and try to build a solid community. We need leadership...we dont have it...we need someone that can look out for all residents. Like I said RUN baby RUN as fast as you can. If you can...the housing in rotterdam is worthless, not because of the taxes but because its such a shithole...piss poor planning, residents that cant look past their noses for progress and opportunity. Most of you complain you have a hard time supporting yourself and cant imagine investing in the town..cant afford it....we need people with vision, pride. Dont tell me its here, read these posts nothing but complainers....the most important thing is pizza and calling DVOR names...PLEASE !!! Hold on residents its gonna get worse..

On this we agree.................in fact I'm having cold pizza for breakfast and then plan on spending a couple hours calling DVOR names......

It's comical to me that folks complain about what get's posted here yet they always seem to show up anyway.............I don't watch Cable news channels because they annoy me............I don't read any of DVOR's posts because they annoy me.................I have at various times in my life moved to other parts of the country because I was unhappy with where I was living...............you have choices in life...........you just need the courage and conviction to make them..............just saying

Come south and west - it's all green right now!  Trees are getting ready to bud, a tax CUT was just announced for property taxes - and elimination of 1% on the sales tax line.

Life is NOT better outside the region -- we have SPLENDID accommodations for families, PARKS, activities and a SOLID infrastructure which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find in the crazed and hateful RED States..   There the Nayboobs concentrate on being hateful racists and misogynists and attempting to find ways to circumnavigate paying their FAIR SHARE in tax monies to a Central Government that as our Founders intended -- has an immutable and essential robustness built into in.    I HATE the NNTP/GOP Nayboobs and would prefer to see them all rounded up and sent to prison...... We should START here in our glorious Schenectady County.   THANK YOU for stating the obvious Biaggio --- The Democratic Party IS looking out for Rotterdam Junction UNLIKE the GOP who at last I checked were busy shoving a water tank down the throats of the residents there in order to enrich their cronies..

sorry, had to comment....Thanks Rotterdam for that water tank my tax bill only went up 400 bucks..Junction pays for everyrhing that goes on in rotterdam through taxes ( share ) but the water tanks got shoved up our a**...no allocation throughout the town on that one...again, get a business man to run this ...ex plumbers, pool installer and now a sheriff...give yourselves a break and get someone who knows something.

the town needs to pay for INITIAL INFRASTRUCTURE across the board.....the upkeep should be paid for in the district.....

atleast if the initial infrastructure was paid for by the whole town folks would notice the cut and paste building more...and pay attention.....

if the town had whole picture infrastructure planning.....the gumbas wouldn't be able to cut and paste their sh!t all over.......

ie: CVS

plastic milk-jug planning.......cheesy -s$$ stuff......

we wouldn't want character now would we?

same thing with Hamburg street.....the 'mayor' was there so long it STAGNATED.....now the 'big developement' is the muscle behind the gumbas? really? that's what we come up with?

Why do you think that people in a separate district over in High Bridge should pay for your water tank any more than you should pay for theirs? Do you understand the fundamental basis of a water district? Or did you think you should wait until the tank fails and pay twice as much to have it repaired on an emergency basis? It goes to show the "junktion mentality."

Hey dummy, answer the question- how would the rest of the town pay for the JUNCTION watertower? Does the Junction pay for the water in highbridge and colonial manor?

Oh Biaggio, stop posing. WHY would the town budget pay for a water district expenditure? Did you NOT NEED a tank? Who is supposed to pay for the Rotterdam Junction Water District Tank if not the Rotterdam Junction Water District? Aren't you educated enough to understand that there are separate districts? Is this why you wanted Tommasone out? How do you think your property value would have been if the tank failed, broke and burst and your home had no water? And then they fixed it for 25% more cost because it was an emergency to fix it? Who would have paid to truck in the water? Ahhhh- your water district!!!

Why you-a skull-a so hard-a? You are one of these frustrated Italian 355s with a hard heads. The kind that makes people laugh at Rotterdam, because no matter how many people explain something simple, you still struggle to make sense of it.
