This is going too far, I don't see how this should be covered. At the same time, let's not let this rather minor issue get us off of the fact that our healthcare system is broken.

medicaid wont pay for skilled nursing bed holds anymore.....why?......duh,,,duh,,,duh,,,,,national healthcare IS marching along.....dont worry...the 'broken-ness' will be gone....I think I heard a tidbit that PEF is pitching in for the medicaid
bed holds......

1. no bed hold = fear of loosing spot at certain home in lieu of
2. no bed hold = death if refuse acute care at hospital

p.s. it just might be safer to avoid the hospital which is what the system hopes....nursing homes have become the hospitals of yesterday without the reimbursment....so we will all be kissing our asses GOOD-BYE...with or without medicaid
