The store on Chrisler Ave looks like a big plastic milk jug......the one in Glenville has style.....and the 'strip' on Chrisler looks like the flea market of the city

oh,,,,we do have style and standards in Rotterdam----dont we....

The CVS on Chrysler Avenue is IN the City of Schenectady -- for the record.

You folks really need to check your facts before you make your foolish comments.

I do not think the CVS on Chrisler ave architecture would fit well with the Architecture of Rotterdam at 4 corners as it does not acknowledge the neighborhood it is taking space away from, it needs to be more than nice to the eyes as Architecture is more than being nice to the eyes.   The entry doors for the proposed CVS face RT 7 something might I add the Stewarts on Western does as well, if the store had good archietcture it would blend into the neighborhood and their would be entry doors and sidewalks to the CVS building on Lawndale not parking spaces, drive thru lanes, and dumpsters.

Funny how you would go ahead and criticize someone for being a concerned citizen, especially because, oh, I don't know... THEY ARE ONE!

The CVS on Chrisler Avenue IMHO would be MORE fitting for 4 Corners than some of the other designs for CVS and other drug stores that I have seen -- inside and outside Rotterdam.

Scotia has had businesses go back to the drawing board over and over until they finally get it the way 'SCOTIA' wants it. Rotterdam should be doing the same thing with this cvs. This proposed cvs is clearly too big for that corner. It will look like someone trying to put 10 lbs of sh!t in a 5 lb bag!
CVS needs to go back to the drawing board and scale down.

I wouldn't cite Scotia as some shining example of great planning --- the drug store on Mohawk Avenue looks out of place on a main street of a small village.   The first thing that greets you when you cross the bridge is a Dunkin Donuts and a vacant lot.

At least, the CVS on Chrisler tried to emulate the look of white clapboard in its design.  I would feel very comfortable if that were the same design used at 4 Corners.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I drove by the CVS on Chrisler today - intentionally -  it actually is a very nice design and would be very appropriate at 4 Corners.

...except for if you are a resident and it would totally change your neighborhood (which DVOR isn't, BTW...).
