Noticed a drill rig at the old 4 corners pizza site today.  Could there be a new building soon?

Are they finally starting to move forward with that?  That has been the rumor for that corner for a long time, but they would still need to tear down that eyesore on the corner.  Also, I thought before they continued with that, they needed at least one of the other houses on that block

Who knows, it could be just a "study".

If they are drilling on old First Class/Pizza site, wouldn't it be more likely being done as part of rebuild of that business? If it was the corner lot/CVS, I would think they would be looking at geological under the old corner building first.

The drilling was happening on the property adjoining First Class.

Whatever it is, it should bring some new life to that corner.  Maybe this is the beginning of the block, including that building on the corner, coming to become something useful.

They found oil, black gold, Texas tea under there.

They are probably going to build a hybrid pharmacy/pizza place

Looks like it might be a CVS pulled this one off the town board meeting for tonight....

Could anyone enlighten me on a town board meeting do they approve this rezoning for the parcels on the spot or do they need to listen to comments first and then vote?

So, the rumor is - they'll close the store on Broadway and at 5 corners to open this new store.

Given the alternatives (vacant lot with one crappy building) and todays economy, this is a win for Rotterdam!

Not sure it a a total win we'll loose three house on lawndale and trade a vacant building in one part of Rotterdam for another
