That's funny!

A newspaper is a device for making the ignorant more ignorant and the crazy crazier.
~ H.L. Mencken

Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
~ H. L. Mencken

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
~H. L. Mencken

Personal attacks should not be accepted as appropriate and in my mind they should never be tolerated. Mr. Macejka helped our family in the past and was helpful knowing that we were entiltled to fair treatment. There is no reason that he needs to be disrespected by the Republican party that is obstructionist in its goals to improve the political atmosphere in the town. To have those who are not supporting him in his desire to move the town forward only distracts from the positive view that people have of our town. People will be hurt by the political vendetta that some of the political leaders are undertaking against him and his family and that is not appropriate in any way, and everyone in town knows this.  The right people like Sheriff Buffardi and Legislator Santabarbara will insure that this nonsense ends on election day. I would agree with your assessment (tic) Gert. The Macejka's are a well known respected family in town. No doubt in my mind they are the brightest, most savvy pols Rotterdam has ever experienced. My opinion is the Macejka's aren't bothered by personal attacks, they know how to play the opposition to the point of losing focus on who the real enemy is. Pure genius. By the way...whose on first?

Genius.

Once again fools--all.  Nothing wrong with Macejka and although my earlier post seems to have been deleted.  I went to TH at 6:00 and he was there.  Yes I own property in Rotterdam and my mother lives there.  He should be able to finish out the six year term as was indicated.  If he screws up--thats another story.  He did a fine job before.  No reason that should change.
