Yup the Tattoo school show on TLC which was on tonight at 10pm, is shot at the Tattoo school on Curry Road, across from Anchor's fish fry and Randy's auto parts.... Maybe we should get some amateur ink and become famous.... or infamous
I remember Lasorsa's! And the bread was great! It was on our dinner table every Sunday. That was such along time ago. Does that mean we are old now?
Since you and I went to school together, that means we are "almost" the same age (you're younger). "OLD" is not a good definition....I would think "mature" defines us better. Do you remember the fruit trees he had on the back wall of the building, (fig tree, orange tree and lemon tree)? They were blooming year round...was strange seeing beautiful fruit on the trees in the winter....but there was no snow within about 10 feet of the back of the building.

I don't think we have enough sense to even know we are old or older. We had chestnut, apple, mulberry and plum trees. This is taking me way back.
I barely remember Lasorsa's, but growing up on Helderberg Ave. I do remember more clearly:
Beverly Hose, where we would play baseball and football Motts Garage The Midget Market Zubal's Market The Little Super (when Benny and Dom owned it) Sunrise Gardens The Beebe Press Herman's Variety store (where Katina's is today) Ed Koppers Sunoco station Daly's Pond (my friend Eugene McDonough drowned there one summer) The cleaners that used to be where the Hess Station is.
