While Frank Del Gallo continues to serve his term as Town Supervisor, defining his record on which he will campaign
for reelection and Republican Supervisor Candidate Brian McGarry campaigns door to door discussing with residents
his positions on the issues, not a word has been uttered by Democratic candidate Harry Buffardi.   Nor, has
Mr. Buffardi been sighted at any of the regular Town Board meetings.

So, beginning today, we will play "Where's Harry"?  If you find him or hear him state a position on any issue, please
post and share it with your neighbors.

It would be novel if Rotterdam residents could place their votes knowing the candidates' stated positions and political
ideology rather than supporting a candidate based solely on name recognition.

Who are you talking about?  "couldn't be reached for comment" DelGallo?

Listen folks, HB has to wait until he gets his marching orders from tj hooker. Something they thought FDG would do...but surprise!!!

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what HB's vision is. First, he never wanted to run. Second, he will try to finish what REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM started with the public safety building. Third, he will support REMS in 'any' capacity just like this bunch does now!! NO ALS $$$!!!

Bottom line....HB and the entire REUNITE ROTTERDAM slate will take their marching orders and will continue to walk lock step with tj hooker!!

Nothing will change but only get worse in the town of rotterdam. Well, maybe rotterdamians will be home to yet another tax payer supported gin mill. Perhaps more blight. Perhaps the second hamilton hill can move in closer.  Perhaps there can be even more crime on the streets of rotterdam. And how about strapping the taxpayers down with a $14M+ public safety building that they can't even afford!!

Let's remember that rotterdam is only 6 months into their budget and they are already dipping into the reserves!! Wanna try a democon again rotterdamians???????

how do we know this????

the town is under budget 8% on average six months in

we have no revenue statements other than DelGallo's and Godlewski's, who's stomachs rumble "we're poor"

rumors of layoffs - 8/11/11 - a man with a backhoe picks 811 (the call before you dig number)

assessment reductions a plenty

and they are trying to sell us on a nearly 50 yr old building that needs 10million in rehab

where the is smoke there is generally fire but there may also be mirrors - this is an election year and one team is known to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$ to win

also for a man who cant stay awake during a board meeting he seems to be burning alot of late night oil

a revenue card could change the landscape - that card will remain hidden because this current board and Supervisor ran on ...........

transparency

Harry's doing well .. campaigning door-to-door .. and happily answering the questions posed to him by the voters.

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

So, Mr. Severson, please share with us his positions.  Where does he stand on:
  • Police Consolidation
  • Public Safety Building
  • REMS
  • Police Contract

for starters?

If you are posting with honesty, you will disclose his positions on the issues since you stated that they have been discussed by the candidate.  We should be aware of the candidates' stances on the important issues before we cast our votes.

And now Fantasy Island starring DVOR as the loyal man-servant Tattoo....
(formerly played by Herve Villachaize-suicide victim).

Sending Harry to your aunts front door and then the back door and then
the front door again, is not really door-to-door campaigning.

He does not know anything about HB's position on anything and as you can tell from his previous
posts, he does not know anything about anything and refuses to answer any questions that he has
been called out on.

I think that I have located Harry's platform positions on the campaign issues at:

http://rotterdamdemocrats.com/Our_Candidates.html

On that website, it reads:

Quoted Text
HIS “NO NONSENSE” APPROACH TO GOVERNMENT WILL GO A LONG WAY TOWARDS RE-FOCUSING TOWN GOVERNMENT ON ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO OUR RESIDENTS, AND FINDING THE SOLUTIONS THAT WILL ALLOW OUR TOWN TO MOVE FORWARD.

I guess that we can end the "Where's Harry" search as all of our questions have been answered.

Re-focusing ... good
Finding solutions ... always good
Moving forward ... again good

HB went to our dem friend's home in rotterdam for signatures. They said they started to ask him about rems and ee and the proposed safety building. (they are against all of them). They said he walked away frustrated.
