Congratulations to Samuel's Formal Wear on the grand opening of their newest location in the Rotterdam Square Mall! It was an honor to attend and be a part of the "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony". Thank you Sam and Kelly Vavala for investing in Rotterdam and for your ongoing support of the local business community.

So Salamone was wrong for being at the grand opening of a small business in Rotterdam...opened by a Rotterdam resident because a democrat might be there? I think the bigger question is for a NNTP slate that pays a lot of lip service to small business and commercial development and not giving tax payer money to business, why wasn't McGarry Tomaselli abbott marchinkowski or Villano there to celebrate a new business in town?

Good on Salamone for being there... This is probably why I still hear greatthings about Salamone at the cofee shop and crickets when I ask about McGarry... Just demonstrates why Salamone makes a better candidate... I hope he's carrying petitions to run to put an end to the joke going on rightnow.

So while the 'real democonss' are sifting through their garbage for a countywide garage sale, and while rotterdam's GP and the few are trying to hang on the the last thread of legitimacy they may have...............THE COUNTY REPS ARE REBUILDING!!! Again........Kudo's to Buchanan!!!

Maybe he decided to make an honest living selling suits? BTW Rotterdam Square has really prospered the last five years under the County DEMS-lol. Another vision of "renaissance-DEM implosion style".

The real game? What game? They both supported a local business opening in town... I heard Hugh Farley sent a representitive there... I be Hugh is also in this conspiracy...... LOL

the "real" dems.   I didnt know BT-Mertz was so close to the "real" dems.  Who are these "real" dems anyway.  Do you really think people are so stupid to believe that dems are mad that FS went to Vavalas grand opening.  You people are really stupid.  I guess Sam shouldnt sell suits to anyone other than "real" dems.  Im sure thats a good business plan!!   If you state workers in the assembly actually earned your own living ...not off of taxpayer dollars...while pretending to be "real" conservatives....then maybe you would have an idea of how "real" businessmen act.

Actually, not only does it appear that Frank Salamone is in the picture, it also appears he's not the best of photographers.  It appears that's actually his reflection, taking the picture, catching himself in the background mirrors.  I guess that it shows how much he's in with Angelo, considering it was on Santabarbara's Facebook page.It either took them a while to get around to a ribbon cutting ceremony, or it took quite a while to get this put up on the page, as Sam has been at this store for quite a while.  

It appears business has been good at the mall location, per a conversation I have had with Sam.

Listen greeny....it is really quite simple here....The real dems are very aware of the connections between FS, AS and GP and they are cautiously skeptical about their connections. From GP's swearing in AS, to AS's flip that GP was involved it, to the failed attempt by AS, GP and FS to take out amedore, to AS's tapping of personal conversations that turned out to be a only make the three stooges look insane, to GP being responsible for the demise of the queen of dems, EE.........and now a ribbon cutting ceremony picture that shows up on AS's facebook page with FS in it, is just more amo for the real dems...........k? Doesn't take a rocket scientist here greeny.

And why would FS be at a little rotterdam ribbon cutting ceremony when....... a. he doesn't work in nys, ..........b. he doesn't hold a political position and/or ..........c. he is looking to run for political office on a 'new slate'!!

Good call KM! Hopefully, FS was there to buy a suit that fits him properly. Another example of the panic in the DEM ranks. ANG has been at every envelope opening even outside his legislative district.

     RSM is a total disgrace. One business after another fleeing including McDonalds, Friendly's and Aunt Annie's Pretzels. And no DVR, this not a nationwide problem. It is because this County is ruined by DEM economic morons.

Apparently FS had exclusive rights to take pics... I'm sure it can't be that they both happened to be taking pictures of the same event? No that can't be the case salamone was there as santabarbaras photographer... Really? I guess it's impossible that Salamone is a friend of the vavalas...

From Mertz employment at Amedore's office, to the Assembly workers getting NNTP signatures, to this years ridiculous third party line attempts to save McGarry's butt that turned out to only make the three stooges look insane, to Amedore tanking Tedisco and Farley every second to get Hugh's seat, to Guiderelli tanking Farley as Majority leader a few years back.........and now an appearance by Mertz and Amedore together at a Little Leaguie opening day ceremony , is just more amo for the real repubs...........k? Doesn't take a rocket scientist here bt?

I spoke with Sam Vavala he is deeply offended by this thread. He said he's a busisness man trying to support his family and a member of the Hamburg Street Merchants Association because he cares about the business community.


He said both Salamone and Santabarbara are friends of his and they are also customers. He said he personally invited many of his friends to his grand opening because he is very proud of the store. He said he was surprised Salamone was able to make it but that Salamone said he was in town on business associated with his law firm. Sam also said a rep. from Farley's office and John Degeorgio were also in attendance.

Sam thought this thing is ridiculous he made clear that he sells suits to anyone regardless of party affiliation of the shopper and doesn't understand why his friends are being criticized for coming to congratulate him.
