The school district can't even graduate 50% of it's students!!! When you flood a city with drug dealers, prostitutes, gangs, welfare fraud and shooters, ya certainly can't expect a 4 star school system now can you?

Rotterdam is next in line to become 'little city of schenectady'. Rotterdam is 50% of the way there now!!!
THANK YOU DEMOCONS!!!

VIVA REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM aka REUNITE ROTTERDAM!!!!

it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

Why is it with you Dems everything has to be about race and bigotry. The trouble with the city schools are the gangs, bullying, poor quality of education, and the I don't care about an education because I don't have to be smart to be a drug dealer mentality and race has nothing to do with it. Maybe if you ever had kids you would realize what's important to parents.

gangs and drugs and bullying is in EVERY school district in the state -- city, sunbruban and rural ...

I do care about education and that is why I believe we need to reorganize the school districts for the 21st century.

You - and Mertz -- and the other racist/bigoted thugs who post here want to turn the clock back to the days when there were one room school houses and  "people of color" or "people who are different in any way" were not even allowed to learn how to read.

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

DV if I were you I would be very careful of calling people racist as some people will not react well to unfounded accusations.

It is his last foolish redoubt. Anyone who ever went toe to toe with liberals finds that out early on in life. I can't recollect a time when liberals didn't play the race or victimology card and this dates back to when I first realized I was a conservative at the age of 12. The fact that the greatest minds in world history were either educated at home or in a one room school house evades the town fool as well.

We can start with all the founding fathers, work our way up to the great leaders, philosophers, and scientists as well- it was not until pubic education became an industry for the government-union complex in the recent half century that education went way downhill as we spent money in a way uphill fashion. Only fools think that there is a relationship between high bureaucrapic expense and good and solid reason and learning. Of course the utter feminization and emotionalization of thought has resulted in the greatest decline, and this has been precipitated by the predominant liberal culture, which in and of itself owns the government-union controlled pubic education system.

You folks have made a number of disparaging remarks about  poor people,  immigrants,  people who speak foreign languages, people of different ethic groups and different racial groups  ---   so it is obvious that there is most  definitely a racist/bigoted "world view" among the Nattering Nayboobs.
