Aurelia M. Lazzari
Hi, friends. Just a note to let you know that today I made a decision to withraw from the Rotterdam Town Board race. My reasons are entirely personal. Thank you for your support and encouragement. I hope that you will cast your vote for Team McGarry, Tomaselli and Longo. I really enjoyed the experience of working with these candidates, and I believe this team will get Rotterdam moving in the right direction.

looks like the big GOP ticket is falling apart...and quickly.   Soon they will be unendorsed by Judge Reilly and maybe we'll see some new candidates emerge?

If the REP signs are printed up they should substitute Carolina in.

I think all Rotterdamians & Schenectadians are tired of recycled politicians.

Carolina was excellent in her day ... that day has passed, time to pass the baton to the next runner.

It really doesn't matter. The independent lines (alliance/nntp) are still going strong and moving forward and picking up steam. They will run not matter what!!!

Kudos to them!!!

They tried to pass the baton. Unfortunately it was dropped. Things are in flux but that's not necessarily a bad thing. When you know your opponents and can counter them you have a tremendous advantage. Without the REP the Alliance Party would be lucky to get 100 votes. Don't see any Pat Z's on that line.

People will totally disagree with this analogy. Folks have grown accustomed to not seeing an endorsed candidate on the rep line. So the Alliance party line would just fill that void if they were not endorsed by the reps. Like him or not....Hull carries a lot of clout in the county/city. He knows and is supported by many heavy hitters. With or without the rep endorsement.....Hull and crew would be the first 'real' threat to the city democons.

And the democons know that......that's why so many democons are jumping ship now!

The independent candidate will still plunge forward leaving the pissing matches behind!!

.........and isn't nd lazarri's cousin???? ...... and a st supporter?? I could be wrong here!

So TD was all about getting her female candidates looks like she has egg on her face with both candidates dropping out! Who is going to replace Aurelia and Nicki? It is absolutely amazing what the NNTP and Peter Greederelli have done to the Republican party in this town in 2 years...In 2 years this town went from all republican control to not a republican in office ANYWHERE and making it even better....They can't even get Republicans to stay in the race... God I miss the days of Parisi as chair at least he had credibility! Good job and congrats to Pete and George and the band of assembly staffers that got us here. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Love, the Democrats!
