Ron Paul will be on Good Morning America Friday morning with a big announcement : )

You don't have freedom because you are a hyphenated American; you have freedom because you are an individual, and that should be protected.

So far, a dismal year for a real choice, or new ideas in the likely Republican Candidates.

Not really, this is the first time that I can recall we had 2 libertarians candidates running in the GOP. As for new ideas how about what they represent, small government, sound money, anti-war, pro-personal responsibility. We haven't seen that in neither party in decades and if you wanted to vote for those principles you would have to vote 3rd party usually, probably under the libertarian party.

I agree. And again.....the REAL tea partiers should rally behind paul and not pander to the reps.

The Tea Party is split, on one side you have the more Libertarian Paul supporters and on the other you have the Palin and Beck type. While the Palin/Beck type talk a good game, when it comes down to policies you will see quickly they're the old big government republicans. Good thing though Palin is pretty much out of the spotlight and Beck's show is being cancelled, from what I heard Judge Napolitano (a libertarian) will be taking Beck's spot and replace it with his show Freedom Watch. A real small government conservative show on main stream FOX would help us out quite a bit.

Even after this is will be tough, the old GOP really hates Paul because he exposes them for the hypocrites they really are. Don't expect much support from other republicans or social conservatives because they again hate the fact of what true freedom actually means. Either way it will be a fun campaign to be involved with. When the grassroots movement gets an idea in their heads they can make it happen, we seen this in Paul's last campaign with the birth of the Tea Party movement and money bombs. The grassroots got enough money together to fund a blimp last time, it was the first presidential candidate to ever have one in history. The marches and rallies were also amazing to see, Paul supporters had a march in DC which was great

Here is the video that was made to promote it

Here is the crowd marching through DC

To win the election, Paul has to run as a Republican, by winning the Republican primary... anyone see that happening???

Nobody said it would be easy but many more people are ready for real change and Paul's ideas are gaining traction. If he doesn't win it will be the countries loss because if they expect change from Obama or Romney they won't get it.

Poor Chris Matthews trying to smear Paul and the message of freedom, well it didn't work. Says a lot about the left with Matthews response at 4:14, yup government can fix everything

Henry,
Thanks for posting the videos, had never seen those before : )  I saw the show with Chris Matthews today trying to call RP a racist and about legalizing drugs.

Box watch the video you posted again, he is not against civil rights but was concerned about property rights.

RP is all about personal freedom and responsibility, if you really listen to him you would understand, you won't get it if you only listen to what you want to hear.

I don't agree with him on a couple of issues but 90 percent I do. He is just so straightforward and honest, a person of high morals and I think that is what others are afraid of, as he is allready bringing out the truth about the federal reserve.

Nice try but you are trying to assume we needed to give up property rights in order to fight regulations that were put into place by the government. Segregation in schools and our military and public transportation was all laws that the government instituted at a federal and local level. In a free society those laws would have never been passed to begin with as all men are created equal, that is what Paul is trying to say. Now if you own your own store you have the right to deny anyone you wish to not serve but in todays society those stores would be out of business very quick. In a free market we have the right to pick where we shop or buy items, would you shop at a place that doesn't serve customers because of their race or religion? I sure the hell wouldn't and most people wouldn't either. So the owner of the store would have to make a decision, either change his policies or fail.

The progressive Woodrow Wilson enacted many of the anti civil rights laws.
