How about we not go bankrupt. The taxpayers can't afford it.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

whats wrong with the FUEZ bldg - too close to>>>>>a pool business

fewer windows and doors to close up - cheaper

Why do you insist on removing private property from the tax rolls when rotterdam has buildings that they already own and can utilize that would be much cheaper for the taxpayers? Ya either refurbish the existing police station or the bradt school location. It's really a no brainer here.

BT some comments are just for fun - fewer windows and doors -

but not for fun

the town study is not directly for the police station it is for a shell company out of PA

said company would lease the modifided GU to RPD and include a finess facility open to regional law enforcement via contract

so there you go, you paid for the study and the building is back on the tax rolls

unless the shell company is another non-profit in true schenectady fashion

maybe this is one for the ethics board

the only reason why it would be pushed to hamburg street is because someone doesn't have enough money to go vacationing due to poor investing.....as for the town
just sitting on it's a$$ and letting Hamburg street sit to petrify like a fossil-----dirty dirty dirty shame.....dont use the town fear as a whipping post for your friends
retirement....GET OFF MY BACK YOU FOSSIL......make a plan....a REAL PLAN.....dont do feel good moves...that's what's happened in the city and look at their
burned out neighborhoods......

the police station is in horrible shape .. it needs to be replaced

the best location  IMHO would be at the Curry Road Shopping Plaza as part of a Municipal Center  .. bring the highway department, senior center and Boys and Girls Club or multi-generation community center, police dept and justice court, and town hall all on to one campus.

the other town properties could go be sold to the private sector and go back on the tax rolls

the memorials could be moved  .. and the town hall would make a great place for professional offices or a small company
