Police say would-be pizzeria burglar shafted
Friday, March 18, 2011
By Kathleen Moore (Contact)
Gazette Reporter

ROTTERDAM — A would-be burglar had to scream for help after getting stuck on his way into a pizza shop this morning.

Timothy J. Cipriani, 46, of Schenectady, was found stuck in the ceiling of Paesan’s Pizza on Guilderland Avenue around 1 a.m., police said.

Police and firefighters came to the scene in response to an automated fire alarm.

Police said they found no fire but heard “distressed screams” and eventually climbed to the roof with a fire truck ladder.

There, they said, they found Cipriani lodged inside a metal ventilation shaft. He was “pleading for help,” they said, adding that he told them, “he was attempting to burglarize the pizza shop when he got stuck and now just wanted the police to help him out.”

He was so tightly wedged that the fire department had to use extrication tools to get him out.............................>>>>............................................>>>>................http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2011/mar/18/0318_stuck/

He has a good lawsuit. How much do you want to bet?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

he could only sue for being the butt of everyone's joke and even then it would be hard.....unless he went for the 'hate crime' law.....
it's like stores having to put up disclaimers of having video surveillance and that there is only $20 in the safe or that the
cashier cant open the safe.....

This is so funny, I decided that I needed to submit this on Jeff Foxworthy's website.  Hey, buddy, "You might be a redneck if you try to break into a pizzaria and get stuck in the air duct."

ROTTERDAM
Indictment for man snagged in air duct

BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter

The man accused of trying to break into a Rotterdam pizza shop, only to get stuck in the restaurant’s duct system, has been indicted on a burglary count, Schenectady County District Attorney’s officials said.
Timothy Cipriani, 46, of Campbell Road, was indicted on one count each of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglar tools. Cipriani was found March 18 stuck in a ventilation shaft on the roof of Paesan’s Pizza on Guilderland Avenue. His struggles eventually triggered the fire alarm and Cipriani begged arriving police and firefighters to get him out. They did, and he was arrested. .....................>>>>...................>>>>.............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01703&AppName=1

What a maroon. I know somebody that works in the drug rehab industry, and he tells me that the guy is a big time alcoholic, not that that's any excuse.

The guy has obviously never been in a kitchen, because in those vents, there are large, very securely mounted, industrial fans, and beyond that, there are several metal  filters, that can only be removed (for cleaning) from the inside.

Only THEN, do you get to drop into that still cooling fryolator with the 375 degree oil in it.

Besides, what the hell are you going to get from a pizza shop?
They most likely have already made their nightly bank deposit, and only have MAYBE $50 in there to make register change in the morning.

Don't get me wrong, I like sliced pepperoni as much as the next guy, I just don't think it's worth going to prison for.

Just cause there is a law it doesn't mean $.  There is no way he would give up his friend's name the penalty for a violation is pretty steep.

Yeah, because we wouldn't want to embarrass the dumbass crook, now would we?
It might hurt his chances of running for senate.

The burglar is quite well known in Schenectady, and has quite a history of past offenses, and is not even a client where my friend works.

Cipriani has been in state prison at least 5 times, is currently on parole, and this latest episode, made him INTERNATIONALLY notorious.
Apparently, you and Sarah Palin read the same newspapers.
You know you're a WORLD CLASS buffoon when your picture ends up in foreign news outlets.
Even Vietnam. Yup. Vietnam.

Oh, I almost forgot the good part. When you translate the Vietnam news site, it cites Rotterdam as being in The Netherlands.
